PPFMaster is a simple Applescript GUI wrapper around Paradogs ApplyPPF and MakePPF3 binaries. It was designed for the Halo modding scene. Their tool, PPF-O-Matic, doesnt work for Mac OS X 10.3 Panther, so ScotiaSoft Systems developed a simple tool to create and apply PPF patches.
The PPF system, or PlayStation Patch File system, is a cross-platform system for patching files. One downloads a (usually small) patch file, and then uses PPFMaster to apply that patch upon his or her files. The PPF system has support for undoing patches (if the patch creator so chooses) as well as verification (so one does not apply a patch to the wrong file).
Enhancements:
- Fixed a bug where an error would be given when the PPFMaster was placed in a folder whose path contained a space.
- Changed "About Application to "About PPFMaster".

This module and attendant modules and classes provide a way for REALbasic 5.2 to access file paths in a variety of useful and interesting ways under Mac OS X (tested under 10.2.6).

Although paths should be avoided under Mac OS (any version) there are times when it may be useful to have them. These include use of the shell class, display to the user, and passing to AppleScript. This module extends the REALbasic FolderItem class by providing a number of methods to extract the path information.

Path Extensions is a REALbasic snippet which allows you to extend the FolderItem built-in class with the ability to get POSIX-compliant paths, better HFS paths, a windows path and file URLs.

iTunes Window Styler is an AppleScript that automate the formatting of iTunes columns--Song Name, Artist Name, Album Title and Genre.

Just store it as script in the Scripts Folder of iTunes so that the script is only a mouse click away when you are running iTunes and youre on your way.

CopyPath is a easy to use and simple application, designed for your Finder toolbar. When the button is pressed it copies the full path of all selected folders and files to the clipboard, taking the hassle out of getting file paths.

Enhancements
- Introduces preferences and modifier keys.
- Pressing the shift key while launching the app will modify the paths based on your preferences, which can be opened by launching the app with the option key down.

Restore paths is a set of two FileMaker Pro databases designed to help fix iTunes Playlists that have lost their track associations. This can happen for a variety of reasons. Your hard drive might have crashed.
You may have moved MP3s to a new volume. iTunes 3 is not very good at rediscovering these broken links once they are broken. So restore paths can help. Restore paths will look up the correct path locations and is able to generate a new playlist export file which you can then import in iTunes 3. Requies iTunes 3, FileMaker Pro, and MP3 Rage.
