Painting is a simple yet powerful graphics application by Sarwat Khan. Its quick to launch and easy to use. Use it whenever you need to make a quick graphic, or whenever you feel artistic.

A Painting A Day 1.0 provides you with a beautiful painting by Duane Keiser. The publisher makes a new painting each day. This widget will display a new painting the moment he posts it to my blog.

Sierpinski Triangle is a small AppleScript that draws a sierpinski triangle in an AppleWorks painting document.
It draws slowly and has only been tested in version 5.

Completly freeware.

Poster Paint is a simple painting application for Mac OSX, a bit like Microsoft Paint for Windows. It can read and save files in BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG and TIFF formats. It has simple drawing tools but does not currently provide all the tools you might expect. New tools will probably be added to new versions.
The code is currently of early beta quality. There are a number of known bugs as noted in the bug list in the application. None of these crash the app (that I know of) or do anything bad to your Mac!
Poster Paint is a Universal Binary so will run natively on both PPC and Intel Macs.
Enhancements:
- Added icons for tools.
- Quick access to zoom via bottom right of window.
- Zoom menus can be customised easily.
- Undo options in Preferences.
- Upgrade to IconFamily 0.9.2 (removes 12 warning during compile).
- Zooming on images with alpha and/or with the grid showing is much much faster.
- Background for images with alpha and grid colour can now be customised.
- App can be quit if a new document sheet is showing.
- Crashes can be reported via built in crash reporter.
- Release now packaged as a pretty DMG.

Quake III Arena Cell Shading is a modification for Quake III Arena which makes the game look like a painting or cartoon.
Two techniques are used. The default one (Kuwahara filtering) simplifies the texture a bit, and the second one removes the texture, so it looks plain.
Enhancements:
- This release added an alternative cell shading algorithm (white texture).
- Rocket smoke trails and sprites like text and buttons are not cell shaded.
- Mirrors now work as expected.
- A sky/depth bug was fixed.
- A new makefile was provided, which should simplify building under Linux. r_celshadalgo and r_celoutline variables were added.
