PDF Document Inspector is a browser of a PDF documents contents. If youre not doing something pretty down-and-dirty with PDF, I cant imagine how it would be useful to you. On the other hand, if you are working with the innermost bits of a PDF file (like I was with Cheap Impostor), I cant think of any other tool out there that would help you figure out whats going wrong.

I wrote PDF Document Inspector as a part of developing my shareware application, Cheap Impostor. PDF Document Inspector is merely a wrapper over the PJX library I used to parse the input documents in Cheap Impostor. I found it invaluable for debugging, and I thought it might be useful to the community at large.

InDesign PDF Utilities is a set of 2 AppleScripts for InDesign that help automate production of PDFs from InDesign documents.

Documents can be processed in batches, using either InDesigns own export facility or by automatically exporting and distilling InDesign Prepress Files.

PDF2IDCS is a drag-and-drop to create an InDesign document from a Multipage PDF file. It will allow you to fit the PDF pages to a specified document size or fit the document to the PDF file size, and scale on-the-fly with a proportional fit. The result is an InDesign document with the PDF pages in sequence.
The placed PDF pages are neatly centered in frames the same size as the document, based on your scaling specs. The original PDF is untouched, only linked. You can then append the pages and print or export to a new PDF file from InDesign.
Simply drag the PDF file on the PDF2IDCS icon and kick back. Itll automatically execute in BackgroundMode. So you can initiate it and walk away or slam through the setup dialogs and go about your business, while it works behind the scene using InDesign as an invisible engine.
If you want you can select WatchTheShow mode to investigate the pages as they layout. Either way, when its done itll activate InDesign with the front page up. The InDesign document will be written to the same folder as the PDF with the same name as the PDF plus the InDesign ".indd" extension. Thats all there is to it!
Enhancements:
- New parse engine that should work with any PDF file.
- The PDF size is now determined by the PDF size data. Previous versions used the media size of the PDF.
- The first page of the PDF is used for document size calculations unless you choose to set the document size yourself.
- The final dialog will indicate Elapsed Time for the job.
- The Elapsed Time will depend on the complexity of the PDF data and of course the number of pages.

PDFCombine is a simple command line utility that allows you to combine the pages of PDF documents.
Unlike some other PDF combining solutions PDFCombine keeps your PDF documents intact: if your PDF document was searchable before, it will still be searchable; if text was selectable before, it will still be selectable. Additionally, PDFCombine does not add any extra bloat to your PDF documents.

The Send PDF via Eudora script takes advantage of the PDF workflow features introduced in OS X 10.2.4. When the script is chosen in a print dialog, it will generate a PDF of the document selected for printing and then attach it to a new message in Eudora.
