PakcetForward is an IP packet capture and forward application based on libpcap and libnet.
PakcetForward is a very useful command line tool that listens on one network interface for UDP and TCP packets and then injects them on the same or another network interface changing the destination address.
In order to get PacketForward to work, you have to have libpcap, libnet 1.0.2a and Nemesis installed on your system. BSD systems like Mac OS X have libcap preinstalled.
Enhancements:
- The makefile now uses the libpcap that is preinstalled on Mac OS X.
- The distributed Mac OS X (Intel) binary is now compiled to use the libpcap that is preinstalled on Mac OS X.
- Corrected minor errors in the readme file related to usage of PacketForward.

Packtory is a command line packet construction tool that allows you to build and send your own TCP/IP packets. It gives you the ability to totally customize the TCP and IP headers to fit your own needs.

Equipped with a packet database manager and a checksum calculator, Packtory is a must have for any computer geek.

With the new functionality of the plug-in interface, the EyeTV software gives third parties access to the raw incoming MPEG-2 transport stream packet data. At this time the API is available for the following products:
- EyeTV 200 (analog)
- EyeTV 300/310 (DVB-S)
- EyeTV 400/410 (DVB-T)
- EyeTV 500 (ATSC)

The plug-in receives plugged and unplugged notifications. It can request or release individual PIDs within the MPEG-2 transport stream, and most importantly, it has access to transport stream packets in real time, as they arrive from the device.

EyeTV plugin SDK is called before EyeTV looks at the packets, so it is even possible to modify the data.

The SDK includes a plug-in sample Xcode project as an easy way to demonstrate EyeTV plug-in functionality. This plug-in displays information about the captured MPEG-2 transport stream.

Kismet is an 802.11 layer2 wireless network detector, sniffer, and intrusion detection system.
Kismet will work with any wireless card which comes with support for the raw monitoring (rfmon) mode, and can sniff 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g traffic.
Kismet identifies networks by passively collecting packets and detecting standard named networks, detecting (and given time, decloaking) hidden networks, and infering the presence of nonbeaconing networks via data traffic.
