LaunchBar to Terminal Command is a very basic script which allows you to send text from LaunchBar to the Terminal as a command. Just select this script in LaunchBar, hit the space bar, and type your terminal command.

The command will execute in the first available session, or open a new session if all current sessions are busy.

Terminal Themes 1.0 gives users the convenience of telnet launchers by editing ".term" files and dropping them in a certain location. What's more, with .term files you are not limited to telnet or ssh sessions. Any terminal command can be excecuted from the .term file. Also, you can set the font, the color schemes, the window title, the window transparency, and more for each session in a term file.

That said, it can be a bit of a task to create these .term files from scratch. For that reason, Wooden Brain Concepts is releasing the collection of .term file templates, with some explanation about how to install and edit them.

Safe Terminal fixes a security weakness with Mac OS X Terminal utility, when it execute shell scripts without the user permission.
If Safari "Open safe files after download" is enabled, its possible to create malicious shell scripts that will be executed by the Terminal automatically after you download them. It is also possible to create malicious shell scripts that look like a document or a folder, that will be executed by Terminal on double click without warning.
After Safe Terminal is installed, the Terminal utility will not execute any file, even if "Open safe files after download" option in Safari is enabled. However, the usage of the Terminal to type and run commands is not effected in any way.

Black on white is so boring! Apples Terminal program allows you many choices of color & font. But coming up with a color scheme that is usable takes quite a bit of time. So, I hope these Terminal windows (yellow on black, yellow on blue, lavendar on purple, and mint on teal) will make your UNIX excursions more enjoyable. Freeware.

Terminal Pal is a handy assistant to your Terminal application. It allows you to directly execute .term files from an always-available menu without requiring you to switch to the Terminal first.

If you regularly telnet or ssh or FTP to several servers, Terminal Pal is a great helper.

Terminal Pal searches ~/library/application support/terminal/ for .term files.

Mini Terminal is usefull for all those little jobs you would want to do, such as fiddle with a school iBook without it appearing in your history file.

Terminal Velocity Patch 1.01a is developed to be a useful patch which will update the full version of Terminal Velocity to version 1.01a. This patch will not work with the Terminal Velocity demo.

Terminal Here Plugin provides a Contextual Menu Module for the Finder in OS X. This CMM provides a popup menu item when right clicking on a directory orfile with the option to Open Terminal Here. When used on a file, it acts as if you used iton the directory the file is in.

When selected, Terminal.app will be launched if it is not already running, and a new window willbe opened and a cd command issued to switch to the appropriate directory.

This is primarily intended for those who do a lot of UNIX style work and really need theTerminal.app to do it.
