Zebra scanner 2.0.2
Zebra scanner - Scan your Mac for trojans more>>
Zebra scanner is intended to search for applications, hidden behind another extension than app . It checks if any of the files in the selected folder(s) has either the real extension .app or the file type APPL. In Mac OS >= 10.3 the program also checks if the item is considered an executable by the OS which can be activated by double-click or otherwise.
The program is meant to be a fast and easy way to retrieve trojan viruses, disguised as an image, MP3, movie, folder etc. thus avoiding that a hidden application can be double clicked by accident and do damage to your Computer. Zebra scanner can also examine classic data.

Laser Scanner 2.0
Laser Scanner is a rather praiseworthy program that models a type of laser scanner. more>>
Laser Scanner 2.0 is a rather praiseworthy program that models a type of laser scanner. The scanner generates patterns by drawing circles on circles. It demonstrates the property noticed with the real scanner; the pattern will sometimes appear to be three dimensional, and adjusting controls will rotate the shape. yet it does have dimensional properties and by using the correct values a 3D object can be manipulated. Laser Scanner has less control in these respects but is still fun.

IP Scanner 2.34
IP Scanner for the Macintosh is a very powerful program which assists you in displaying all machines, users & IP numbers of Macintosh users on your local network. more>>
IP Scanner 2.34 for the Macintosh is a very powerful program which assists you in displaying all machines, users & IP numbers of Macintosh users on your local network. It also detects some non-Macintosh devices, and in many cases can even identify the manufacturer of the device.
IP Scanner uses Bonjour (the technology formerly known as Rendezvous) to collect realtime user information as well as IP data from Macintosh machines on a local area network and sorts everything in tidy columns, each machine's IP number displayed next to its name (along with the current username of the person logged in to that machine).
For small network admins, this means no more shouting around the office to find out who has which IP or, conversely, who is sitting at which workstation in a fixed IP network.
Scanner is free for individual users. Using it on a network with more than 5 devices requires a shareware licens, which entitles you to export and printing functions, tech support, feature requests, and a chance to win a dream date with Paris Hilton.

CDR Scanner 1.0 brings users the convenience of using an efficient software which can help users read every file on a CD-ROM and write a test report that lists each file along with the size of the file, the time required to read the file and the resulting throughput.
In addition, it times each sector read and reports read errors and unusually long read times?generally a sign of weak sectors requiring retries by the drive or system software.

SANE scanner frontend 1.2b is a potential and easy to use tool for you if your scanner is useless in OS X thanks to UMAX.
This program can scan without all the hassle of terminal! It is very basic but does the job.
Before using this program, you need to download the libraries. Mattias Ellert has compiled sets for OS X and packaged them up. You can get them here. You need to download the binary file for SANE, and if your scanner is USB, the binary of libusb. Choose carefully the versions for your operating system.
- Direct access to the SANE library (better multiple scanner support, scanner detection)
- Preferences (you can choose what to do after a scan)
- Removed Settings window (buggy)
- Added Settings drawer (less settings, less buggy)
- Added a nice icon near the scanner name in the scanner list (nice!)
- Lots of bug fixing, almost everything under the surface has changed
- Please note this is a beta release. The reason is to fix any bugs that might come up.
Requirements:
- Mac OS X 10.1 or later
- A SANE supported scanner.

Attachment Scanner Plugin 0.9.4
Attachment Scanner Plugin - you will never forget to include an attachment on your emails more>>
It happens to me all the time. By the time I get done writing my email, I forget that I needed to attach something to it before hitting Send.
This Mail.app plugin helps avoid that problem. When you send a message, it checks if theres an attachment. If there isnt, and it looks like youve referred to an attachment in the body of your mail (by using a word like attach, attaching, attachment, etc), it gives you a warning.
Most of the time, you should never notice that this plugin is running, but in those cases when you do need it.

Davtri HTTP Fingerprinting Scanner 1.3 is actually beneficial to scan a single host, a comma separated list of hosts or an entire subnet for all machines that are running an http server on any of the common and many uncommon ports.
For ever server it finds, it attempts to "fingerprint" (identify) what the server software is that is running on that port. The application also allows you to save the report to either a "raw" file for use in scripts or automated parsing routines or in a valid, styled, xhtml file that is very easy to read.
Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3 or later.
Davtri Fingerprinting HTTP Scanner 1.3
Fingerprinting HTTP Scanner - HTTP scanner that seaches servers hosts for http servers running on common and uncommon ports more>>
Davtri Fingerprinting HTTP Scanner is an HTTP Scanner that searches on both common and uncommon ports and attempts to identify what http server is running.
This application allows you to scan one host at a time, a comma separated list of hosts or a whole subnet (subnets can be a little slow, but when scanning 254 hosts, you have to expect that).
The application also allows you to save the results in two different file formats. The first is a raw (plain text) format that can be used more easily by other software and scripts for automated analysis. The second format is a styled, valid xhtml report for a more formal and human readable report.
