The Contour Overdrive is a custom version of USB Overdrive that was specifically designed for the Contour Design UniMouse and Perfit Mouse and does NOT support any other device.
The mouse settings allow you to speed up your daily tasks by assigning useful actions to all the extra buttons in your USB mouse. Youll typically want to assign a control-click to the right button for easy contextual menu access, and use the middle button for auto-scrolling which makes it easy to scroll your documents using the mouse.
All the settings can be configured globally or on an application-specific basis. For games that already use InputSprockets, the Contour Overdrive provides all the needed hooks to support the device-specific configuration panels provided by the manufacturer. The Control Panel includes an active help feature that explains each command and option as you move the cursor around.
Enhancements:
- Fixed an incompatibility with the Griffin iMate ADB to USB adapter.
- Added visual cursor feedback fpr AutoScroll
- Rewrote most of the low-level part to get rid of the custom USB drivers and use Apples standard ones instead, which makes the Contour Overdrive fully compatible with Mac OS 9 and the new Game Sprockets. The custom drivers are still available for use under Mac OS 8.x without Game Sprockets, and a new option in the Options menu can activate and deactivate them.

In classic up-scroller style take out the enemies as you see them in any way you can. Throughout the game youll acquire different ships, each with its own amount of health, style of canons, and special overdrive ability. Switch between any of your ships at will by hovering over the ghost-ships at the bottom and scrolling through them using either the [scroll-wheel] or [q] and [e]. With each ship having their own health meter but sharing the same over-drive amount, be careful where you spend your over-drive abilities not to let your most capable ships get destroyed right away. For every enemy you destroy the overdrive meter gets refilled a small amount.
Occasionally enemies will drop power-ups. Some replenish the current ships health, some completely replenish your overdrive meter, and some are bombs that take out any and all nearby enemies.

DejaMenu is a small utility designed to display the current applications main menu as a context menu when a key combination is pressed.
This is particularly useful for people using multiple monitors. Since the Menubar only appears on a single monitor, it is awkward to use applications on a different monitor. DejaMenu solves this - just press the configured key combo, and a copy of the Menubar is right there for your to use.
If your mouse can simulate key-presses, DejaMenu becomes even more useful. For instance, on my 4-button trackball, I have the fourth button set to bring up DejaMenu by simulating shift-cmd-m when clicked. (USB Overdrive and Kensington Mouseworks both allow mapping of keys to button presses).
In many ways, this was inspired by the NeXTStep convention of having the main menu appear on a right-click.
