over the years
Head Over Heels 1.0
Remake of the classic game. more>>
Head Over Heels was released, um, a while ago. Around about 1987 if I recall correctly, and it was immediately praised in the press as being quite the bestest thing ever. Not only was it a huge game for its time, it also had great graphics and was very addictive - if somewhat punishing in its difficulty level.
The variety in the locations was amazing and the challenges brilliantly designed. Quite rightly it was awarded with pretty much every accolade that could be bestowed upon it by the various magazines. Even today it still stands as a brilliantly designed title and has never really been bettered in the isometric adventure genre.
Bob vs The Aliens 1.4
Bob vs The Aliens - Battle waves and waves of aliens more>>
Two years ago an alien ship attacked Earth, only to be repulsed by our superior weaponry. However, it seems that some of the alien contingent survived the attack and are now building an advanced base underground.
Last time around we were able to learn many technologies from the alien weapons we found. You must help Bob take his energy gun, and rather cool suit, and eradicate the aliens. Be careful; we have reason to believe the aliens have humans and all sorts of monsters on their side.
Bob vs. the Aliens offers 32 levels of side-scrolling, platform-hopping side-scroller action. Battle waves and waves of aliens and bosses on your way to the goal.
Main features:
- 32 Levels
- Lots of aliens
- Sounds & Music
- Tough bosses drop in once in a while.

Isle of the Towerguard 1.0
Isle of the Towerguard - Take a stroll on a beautiful Isle in visually stunning 3D more>>
Around the time that Apple released the first couple of screenshots of Mac OS X I did a quick sketch. It didnt take long, it was nothing special. But the thought occured that Id like to build it in 3D and walk around it in realtime.
I set about searching for tools which would allow me to do that, but nothing existed which didnt require a bunch of science and math qualifications until 2 weeks ago when I stumbled across Unity.
The first thing I did on downloading the Unity demo was dig out that old sketch its not about the sketch or its contents; its about the fact that finally there is a Mac tool which is exactly what I had hoped to find all those years ago.

WeatherMe X 3.1
I enjoy flying X-Plane with real weather and in 1998 created a simple program to automatically keep the weather data up-to-date more>> I enjoy flying X-Plane with real weather and in 1998 created a simple program to automatically keep the weather data up-to-date. Over the years, WeatherMe has evolved to track changes in X-Plane as well as user requests. WeatherMes goal is to operate without human intervention and to do one thing well.
WeatherMe checks for new weather every 20 minutes. Starting with Release 3.0, the user now has a choice of three different sets of weather data: two from NOAA plus the original UMN site. UMN remains the default so if you fly destinations outside the USA you may want to select one of the NOAA options in the Preferences dialog. The users choice of weather data is saved in a preference file. I caution against assuming NOAA is the best source for data. In my experience, it is less reliable than UMN though it does have the advantage of more extensive geographic coverage. For more information, please see the Readme and NOAA text files in the WeatherMe package. This status window is displayed in the lower left corner of your display. Ghost Recon: Heroes Unleashed 1.0b5

Ghost Recon: Heroes Unleashed 1.0b5 comes as an interesting mod (as in modification) for the squad-based military tactical shooter game "Tom Clancys Ghost Recon", which was published for PC by Red Storm Entertainment and Ubisoft in 2001, and for Macintosh by Aspyr Media in 2002.
This mod is a tribute to the Ghost Recon community. Its aspiration is to honor the makers and fans of this great game, and to be a token of appreciation for all the people who contributed to the Ghost Recon universe over the years.
Ghost Recon: Heroes Unleashed is the redux of popular content that has been introduced to the game by various other mods in the past, and it strives to incorporate those elements of Ghost Recons history into a timeless collection, meticulously complemented by novel features.
The mod makes more than 100 maps and missions available in single and multiplayer mode and offers over 200 different weapons to choose from. All additions have been carefully integrated and balanced to provide a homogeneous level of professional audio-visual and technical finish.
Heroes Unleashed is aiming to improve and expand many aspects of the original game to increase its already highly addictive replayability, while remaining true to Ghost Recons unique character and concept.
It also tries to intensify the realistic feel and immersive qualities of the game, making it more challenging and emphasizing the atypical Ghost Recon game style: Tactical team play rather than the "solo, run and shoot, wanna-live-forever" style found in many other FPS games.
If you are looking for killing sprees and fragfests, move right along, there is nothing to see here. Just as the original, Heroes Unleashed is predominantly about tactics and teamwork, and a good strategy will serve you much better than quick reflexes and an itchy trigger finger.
With the combination of all of its features, Heroes Unleashed seeks to create the optimum Ghost Recon experience for both single player games as well as multiplayer battles, whether Co-Op, Solo or Team based ones. The mod wants to accommodate a full spectrum of players from the casual gamer, over regular clan and guild players, up to league professionals.
I hope that Heroes Unleashed will provide you with many extra hours of fun in playing one of the best computer games ever devised.
