OSXplanet is a front-end to the popular program xplanet made in Cocoa and Objective-C.
It replaces your desktop with a picture of earth showing where it is night and day.

Make sure you read the README and do all the things on it before reporting bugs! OSXplanet will not work with the option "Change Picture" enabled! Make sure you do not use Stuffit version 8 to unstuff. Use 8.01 or something lower then 8.

Mac p2c is a utility for programmers. Mac p2c translates Pascal language source files into C language source files.

Mac p2c is a direct port of p2c, version 1.21a available for unix under the GNU public license. All source code is included.

A robotic telescope observes starfields looking for stars whose brightness varies. It takes pictures of the fields when the weather is good and the field is in a good position in the nighttime sky. It has discovered 81 eclipsing binary stars.

Most people who have done mock-ups are familiar with the classic Lorem ipsum phrase, the Latin text which is often used to fill in spaces where text will be put at a later time.

MacLorem uses the classic "lorem ipsum" phrase to generate random text, providing more variety and a more realistic, non-repetitive and naturally uneven look.

Simply clicking on a button marked Generate will create random text, placing it in MacLorem s main window and simultaneously placing it on your clipboard so it is ready to paste into the document you are designing.

Mac-ProLi is a small application for the administration of your (software) projects. It directs to user, who dont like to install a complete version management system. This application takes over the task of my AppleWorks database.

With this software you get an overview of all existing and future projects (versions).

Most accounting programs are too expensive and too difficult to use for someone who isnt an accountant. A simple cash balance program doesnt tell you, for example, how much money you spend monthly for food etc. or with credit cards.

However - my wife is an accountant and has very high demands on an accounting program. So I developed a program for my wife. The first version of my program was developed on an old Apple //e and my wife was very happy with it. During the development stage I had to find a compromise between the best possible operation for an accountant and the interface of the Macintosh. I hope I found the golden mean.

"Mac-HaBu" offers two accounting methods. By "yearly accounting" the payment- and current accounts will be zeroed yearly, as in business life. However, for private use the monthly account is definitely more interesting. In this mode the inventory accounts, will be zeroed monthly.

Mac Multipac is a pacman emulator. It was originally written for DOS, I ported it to the Macintosh. It can handle the following games:

Hangly-Man
Crush-Roller

The current version is 8.1.

NOTE: While Multipac was cool in its time, it is now obsolete. Actually, it became "MAME" which has got to be the coolest arcade emulator out there. So Multipac is not of much use any more, unless you want to run at 3x3 pixel size, or unless you are having a bit of a nostalgia kick and want to see where MAME came from.
