PBOpener 1.0 is a mighty effective program that registers ProjectBuilder to add the service "ProjectBuilder/Open Project".

After selecting a file/folder in any application, you can let PB open the project in which the file resides. You don't need to select the PB.project file; any file in a directory containing a PB.project file, or the directory itself, can be used to launch PB.From a technical point of view, PBOpener doesn't add any category, no does it any posing. It simply adds a new class which is provider of services named SenPBOpener. The class is not provider of (future) services named ProjectBuilder (the default application services name).

Requirements:

• PBOpener has been compiled and tested on MacOS X Server and WOF 4.x.
• It may also work on OpenStep (Enterprise) 4.x but you will need to modify the PB.project and Makefiles in order to recompile it.

NSMine is a MineSweeper (tm) clone. It has some great features such as sound support, multiple tile sizes and user defined coloring. It was originally created by Alexander Wilkie and I ported it to Openstep/Mac OS X Server and now OS X.

I have recently updated the menu structure to reflect MacOS X standards and have implemented one button mouse support (use either Control or Option + Mouse Click to simulate the right mouse button).

NoteAbilityPro 2.373 is known as an effective and convenient notation package for the Openstep and Macintosh OS-X operating systems. Developed by Dr. Keith Hamel at the University of British Columbia, it is easily the most sophisticated music notation software available on any platform. NoteAbility combines both musical intelligence and graphical flexibility in a direct and intuitive graphical user interface.

Notate anything from simple melodies to complex avant garde orchestral music, play the score on your MIDI synthesizer or directly from your computer sound card and print a publishable copy of your score on your laser printer. If you have been frustrated by the awkwardness and inflexibility of other notation programs then you definitely should have a look at NoteAbility.

mpap is a MPEG Audio Player used for playing "mp3" files.

mpap allows you to play MPEG audio files on OpenStep/Mach 4.2 (Intel only; NeXT hardware isnt fast enough to decode mp3s in realtime), MacOS X dp4, and MacOS X Server (PowerPC).

The most common use of this would be for playing "mp3" files, which proliferate wildly on the internet.

CVL (Concurrent Versions Librarian) is a version and configuration management tool for Mac OS X, Mac OS X Server (Rhapsody), Windows and OPENSTEP.
It allows parallel modifications as well as branches. CVL is useful for one and for many users.
It helps managing versions of various resources (source code, projects, documents).

VNCViewer 1.24 brings you a convenient viewer application for the VNC remote display system. A fine gentleman by the name of Helmut Maierhofer has graciously allowed me to compile his Openstep viewer.

It is now available as a MacOSX only cocoa app. source and binary are included in a stuffed tarred gzipped file (don't ask, just download it, unstuffit, gunzip it, and untar it) as a testament to how well openstep and cocoa are intertwined and how well Mr. Maierhofer codes, I was able to get a prelimenary version of the app running after changing only one line in the make file.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

GNUMail.app is a fully featured mail application running on Linux (or FreeBSD, OpenBSD, etc) and Apple Mac OS X.
