Notes Guru is a simple yet powerful note pad application. Notes Guru can store an unlimited number of plain text notes, of any length.

One of the strengths of this application is its ability to quickly and easily filter notes based on their titles and contents, in real-time. It also provides two very simple ways of jumping quickly between notes.

XNotes 1.0.1 is a tool endowed with extraordinary powers of jotting down quick notes to yourself in MacOS X--maintains the simplicity that made NotePad (for MacOS 9 and earlier) so wonderful.

Note Form 2.4 is considered to be a handy and innovative utility which automatically takes notes for you. It does this by removing unnecessary words like "and" and "the" thus resulting in simplified sentences, aka notes. You can specify the note separator and add your own separators, and save your notes to a text file. In addition, you can change the background color of the window and decide whether or not to remove capitals. This program is great if you have a presentation to make and need to take notes for it.

Note-a-Drill is a tool designed for learning to recognize notes and play them on a MIDI keyboard. It operates by randomly selecting target notes that you then have to play on your keyboard to advance to the next note.

This is not intended to replace lessons or other teaching software and materials, but to supplement them in helping a student learn one particular skill. The software I have been using to learn piano is very weak on that, mostly leaving it up to the student.

I searched for a while trying to find something free or paid that would do what I wanted the way I wanted but found nothing for a Mac, so I decided to make my own. Its relatively simple, but does what it needs to do.
