Atmosculator 2.0.3
Atmosculator is a standard atmosphere calculator more>>
It can be used to determine the pressure, temperature, density, viscosity and other parameters up to an altitude of 278,385 feet
The 1976 model is the latest of a number of versions developed jointly by NOAA, NASA and the USAF. The complete model includes properties at even higher altitudes, but these regions are more complex and are not included here.
Atmosculator also provides the option of calculating properties under non-standard conditions - i.e. when the temperature differs from that of the standard model.
Although the values provided by Atmosculator have been carefully checked against the original U.S.
Government source, their accuracy cannot be guaranteed, so please use this tool at your own risk.
Atmosculator includes extensive Help on the basis of the model and a mathematical derivation showing how the properties are calculated.

CAMEO 2.1 is regarded as a convenient as well as useful system of software applications which are designed to help users plan for and respond to chemical emergencies.
Major Features:
- It is one of the tools developed by EPAs Chemical Emergency Preparedness and Prevention Office (CEPPO) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Office of Response and Restoration (NOAA), to assist front-line chemical emergency planners and responders. They can use CAMEO to access, store, and evaluate information critical for developing emergency plans.
- In addition, CAMEO supports regulatory compliance by helping users meet the chemical inventory reporting requirements of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA, also known as SARA Title III).
- CAMEO also can be used with a separate software application called LandView to display EPA environmental databases and demographic/economic information to support analysis of environmental justice issues.
- The CAMEO system integrates a chemical database and a method to manage the data, an air dispersion model, and a mapping capability. All modules work interactively to share and display critical information in a timely fashion.
- The CAMEO system is available in Macintosh and Windows formats.

Jack of All Widgets 2.3.5
Jack of All Widgets - Universal search widget for Dashboard. more>> Jack of All Widgets - Universal search widget for Dashboard.
JackWidget is a multi-purpose search tool. It has a search field and a popup menu.
The search field, of course, is for typing in the search. The popup menu is for selecting which site or sites to search. Some of the popup choices will send your search to several websites at once.
The simplest way to use it is to select a search from the popup menu and then type in some search terms and hit return. It also supports CLI-style usage, bypassing the popup menu. It has over two dozen searches built in, and is infinitely customizable (if you know how to open a widget package and edit XML).

WeatherMe X 3.1
I enjoy flying X-Plane with real weather and in 1998 created a simple program to automatically keep the weather data up-to-date more>> I enjoy flying X-Plane with real weather and in 1998 created a simple program to automatically keep the weather data up-to-date. Over the years, WeatherMe has evolved to track changes in X-Plane as well as user requests. WeatherMes goal is to operate without human intervention and to do one thing well.
WeatherMe checks for new weather every 20 minutes. Starting with Release 3.0, the user now has a choice of three different sets of weather data: two from NOAA plus the original UMN site. UMN remains the default so if you fly destinations outside the USA you may want to select one of the NOAA options in the Preferences dialog. The users choice of weather data is saved in a preference file. I caution against assuming NOAA is the best source for data. In my experience, it is less reliable than UMN though it does have the advantage of more extensive geographic coverage. For more information, please see the Readme and NOAA text files in the WeatherMe package. This status window is displayed in the lower left corner of your display.
