In order to comply with the latest W3C standards, Netscape Navigator 6.x changed its Document Object Model (DOM). This results in display problems that might occur with DHTML animation, actions, rollovers, and URL pop-ups used on Golive pages. Adobe provides a special extension that enables you to make the GoLive code compatible with Netscape Navigator 6.x.

This "Make NN6 Compatible" extension needs to be installed into an existing version of Adobe GoLive 5. The installation process requires several steps to be performed as described in this document. Once the "Make NN6 Compatible" extension has been installed successfully, the Special menu will include the Make NN6 Compatible command, which you can apply to either an entire site or selected documents.

Subversion support for Interface Builder and EOModeler extends EOModeler and Interface Builder (Mac OS X 10.2) so that .svn directories for nibs/eomodels under subversion are not trashed when documents are saved.
Subversion is meant to be a better CVS, so it has most of CVSs features.

Page Fade Action for GoLive can be used as a Head Action from the Smart tab of the palette.
In GoLive 4 and earlier, a Head Action was called an Action Headitem and was in the CyberObjects tab of the palette).
Page Fade Action for GoLive is set to run OnParse (for fade-in) or OnUnload (for fade-out).

Creates a "fade-in" or "fade-out" effect by changing the background color of a page gradually between two chosen colors. You choose the start color, the end color, and the number of steps in the fade (1-255). You use the Action in an Action Headitem, and you can choose to run it on OnParse for fade-in or OnUnload for fade-out. You can also add two Action Headitems to have the page fade in and then out.

Image Dialog Action for GoLive is a Netscape 4+ only action displays a dialog like the Basic Dialog, with all the customisation options which Basic Dialog offers.

Image Dialog Action for GoLive also allows you to use an image of your choice within the dialog.

Make sure you follow the included instructions carefully when using this Action.

Third Voice Hide Action for GoLive can be used as a Head Action from the Smart tab of the palette (in GoLive 4 and earlier, a Head Action was called an Action Headitem and was in the CyberObjects tab of the palette).

Stops any Third Voice notes being displayed. The action doesnt prevent TV notes being added, but it will make it difficult for TV users to view any existing notes.

Third Voice Redirect Action for GoLive can be used as a Body Action from the Smart tab of the palette (in GoLive 4 and earlier, a Body Action was called an Inline Action and was in the CyberObjects tab of the palette).
Redirects Third Voice users to a page/URL of your choice. Doesnt affect Mac or Unix users, or Windows Netscape users.

Basic Dialog Action for GoLive is a Netscape 4-only action that displays a floating, draggable custom dialog-box within the browser window.

You can specify:
The background colour of the dialog;
The titlebar colour;
The title text;
The main message text;
The colour of the main message text;
The colour of the titlebar text;
The label on the button within the dialog.

Be sure to follow the instructions which are included with the Action.
An extra JavaScript file (also included) must be linked to your page, via adding a JavaScript Head item from the GoLive palette.

Hourly Message Action for GoLive writes a different message onto the page each hour of the day.
You choose the 24 messages, whether to make the text bold and/or italic, whether to link the message and where to link it to, and whether to show a readout of the time the page was accessed.

Open Window Action for GoLive is a Open Window action, except that it also allows you to specify the screen position which your new window will appear at.
Note that this positioning will only function in version 4 (or later) browsers; older browsers will just open the window at the top-left of the screen.

Gestalt codes in MacOS are global settings, similar to environment variables in Unix and DOS.

Many applications and system extensions install a so-called Gestalt Selector that give other apps and the user some information about their state.

As an example, Mac OS always installs a Gestalt Selector with code "sysv", which returns the currently running system version.

Prince is a batch formatter for converting XML into PDF by applying Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).
