The Note Frequency calculator Dashboard widget is used to calculate the frequency (in Hertz, or cycles-per-second) of a note based on a note name or a MIDI note number. It can also be used in the reverse capacity to derive a note name and MIDI note number based on the closest note found to a supplied frequency.

This tool is primarily useful in music production - both for studio mixing and recording, as well as in live sound - when it is of particular interest to note the fundamental frequency range of an instrument and/or of the primary notes of a passage played on an instrument.

CornerWeight is a Dashboard Widget for Mac OS X that enables quick and convenient calculation of a car’s relative weight distribution.

By entering the measured weight at each wheel, the widget will calculate the relative percentage weight for each wheel as well as front/back and left/right and also the total weight (circled).

Collect stars by flying your spaceship into them, or by dragging them into your spaceship with your Star Beam. The Star Beam gives you greater accuracy in placing stars where you need them.

Connect 3 stars of the same colour and they will explode, automatically providing valuable fuel for your spaceship. If you run out of fuel, your spaceship will implode and you will lose a life. When a star is nearby, a marker will appear at the edge of the screen showing the colour and direction of the star. Use these for planning star groupings in the quickest possible time.

When stars explode, other stars may drift off into space. Collect them again for bonus points. The more you use your Thrust, the quicker your fuel will disappear! As the game progresses, thrusting uses more and more fuel, so be careful!

Sundial is a Dashboard widget for Mac OS X that allows you to quickly and easily log time entries to your Basecamp Plus or Premium account.

Widgzee is a widget clone of the classic dice game Yahtzee. You get three rolls and thirteen rounds to score poker-like combinations for the highest score possible.

Widgzee remembers your high scores which are categorized by the number of Yahtzees you obtained during the game.

Please contact me with any feature requests or problems found. An idea I’m considering, if there is enough interest, is a worldwide high score system.

Stac requires ingenuity and persistence in solving and assembling. Determined users will recognize new methods as they advance through levels, subsequent highscores are saved locally.

stac is written fully in JavaScript and runs in any browser. This particular version, however, has been designed and optimized exclusively as a widget for Mac OS X Dashboard.
