Its interface is very simple and intuitive, and it features the creation of plain text, HTML and multipart messages, customization of subject and body using "smart tags" and attachments (including inline attachments).
Other features are output MBOX files (open-able in Mail, Entourage or any other capable email client), integration with FileMaker, Entourage and Address Book, and capability to send the messages through Entourage (or simply place the messages at its Outbox folder), appart from standalone SMTP delivery.
NewsLetter is powered by XMail.osax, so it is compatible with any smtp server.

CheckTemplate looks for the proper template when the document is loaded and whenever it is activated.
This is extremely useful if you move documents between two machines that have slightly different arrangements, or if you move a document between Word for Windows and a Word: Mac CheckTemplate will attempt to find the expected template, if it cannot, it will ask if you want to run the Templates and Add-in command to attach an appropriate template.

Recently there have been a lot of utilities released that bill themselves as telnet launchers, etc. Most of them cost money.
Many people dont realize that the same thing can be accomplished simply by editing ".term" files and dropping them in a certain location. Whats more, with .term files you are not limited to telnet or ssh sessions. Any terminal command can be excecuted from the .term file. Also, you can set the font, the color schemes, the window title, the window transparency, and more for each session in a term file.
That said, it can be a bit of a task to create these .term files from scratch. For that reason, Wooden Brain Concepts is releasing our personal collection of .term file templates, with some explanation about how to install and edit them.
