On OSX, these files can take up as much as 4 GB of space and, unless you wish to run your Mac in these languages, they are unnecessary. iCleanLanguage does this by scanning for these files and then selectively removing them. iCleanLanguage is different from similar applications because it allows you to remove files from specific locations or applications, gives a full report at the end of a session, allows you to exclude certain applications and folders, and can be used in "Dry Run" mode. It can also be used as a drop box to clean newly downloaded apps.
You can also drop any application or folder on iCleanLanguage icon and you will be presented with a dialog asking you if you want language files removed. this is handy if you download a new application and want to clean it first.

This is mostly useful for X-windows users (Linux, etc.), which don't want their clipboards to be erased when marking the text in the field to delete it. There are several other add-ons that do this, but this one is really lightweight and doesn't need any toolbar buttons. The functionality is more similar like the ones found in Safari and Konqueror.
