DNS Enabler 4.0.3 gives you a handy and polished tool which can be used by Mac users to easily and quickly set up a fully-functional Domain Name Server on a plain Mac OS X machine. It is designed to allow a user to set up domain name information quickly using a single window, in the fastest time.

DNS Enabler provides the interface to allow users to specify name-to-address mappings for machines on the Internet, as well as their aliases or MX records (which specify that certain machines act as mail servers for the domain). Additionally, it allows users to set the other domain and zone information, like the Time-To-Live intervals that determine how long these information remain valid.

It will automatically generate the appropriate named.conf file, the forward mapping files for each domain, the reverse mapping files for each network, and all the resource and reverse pointer records from the specifications entered.

Enhancements: Enlarged the data entry field for Virtual Domains into multiple lines.

PhotoGPSEditor 1.6 is known an easy to use meta-data editor for photo (JPEG, RAW, or Tiff) files and it is also capable of matching data from GPS (gpx or NMEA) files. The program is freeware, however, donatations can be made to help support future development. With PhotoGPSEditor you can add location and summary details to a JPEG, RAW or Tiff files. Location information consists of latitude and longitide data, as well as town, area/region, and country. This can be added automatically by matching up photos with GPS (gpx or NMEA) file track data, manually (just type it in) or 'automatically' by placing a pointer on a map to get the latitude and longitide data. The program can then add town, area/region, and country information. This process can also be described as 'geocoding' a picture/photo.

TTMath 0.8.4

TTMath 0.8.4

A bignum library written in the C++ programming language more>>
TTMath 0.8.4 is a useful software which functions as a bignum library written in the C++ programming language. TTMath provides standard mathematical operations like add, sub, mul, div, pow etc. with the big integer and big floating point numbers.

Enhancements:

  • Fixed: UInt:DivInt() didn't check whether the divisor is zero
  • There was a hardware interruption when the divisor was zero(now the method returns one)
  • Fixed: the problem with GCC optimization on x86_64
  • Sometimes when using -O2 or -O3 GCC doesn't set correctly
  • The stack pointer (actually the stack is used for other things)
  • And you cant use instructions like push/pop in assembler code.
  • All the asm code in x86_64 have been rewritten, now instructions push/pop are not used, other thing which have access to stack (like "m" (mask) constraints in Rcl2 and Rcr2) have also gone away,
  • Now the library works well with -O2 and -O3 and the asm code
  • Is a little faster
  • Added: UInt:PrintLog(const char * msg, std:ostream & output) used (for debugging purposes) by macro TTMATH_LOG(msg)
  • (it is used in nearly all methods in UInt class)
  • Added: macro TTMATH_DEBUG_LOG: when defined then TTMATH_LOG() put some debug information (to std:cout)
  • Added: ttmathuint_x86.h, ttmathuint_x86_64.h, ttmathuint_noasm.h,
  • All the methods which are using assembler code have been rewritten to no-asm forms

Unlike OpenOffice.org, NeoOffice has an enhanced spellchecker that uses the Mac OS X spellchecking dictionary. With this enhanced spellchecker, users no longer need to download and install spellchecking dictionaries if Mac OS X already has a dictionary for their language.
- Uses the Native Mac OS X Address Book
NeoOffice has included the ability to use the Mac OS X address book as a data source. This feature, which was developed by OpenOffice.org, is expected to be in their OpenOffice.org 2.3 release.
- Handles Most Microsoft Office 2007 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Files
NeoOffice includes the ODF Add-in for Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The ODF Add-in is an open source project that makes it possible for NeoOffice to open, edit, and save most files in the Office 2007 Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats. This feature is not available in current Mac versions of Microsoft Office and will not be available until Office 2008 for the Mac is released.
- Handles Macros in Excel Files
NeoOffice includes the Excel macro support developed by Novells ooo-build project. The ooo-build project is an open source project that continually develops feature enhancements to OpenOffice.org.
- Aqua
Unlike OpenOffice.org, NeoOffice has native Aqua menus, file open and save dialogs, print dialogs, buttons, scrollbars, and many other native Aqua user interface elements.
- No X11 software required
NeoOffice uses the Java technology that is built into Mac OS X. By using Java, there is no need to download and install the X11 software that OpenOffice.org requires.
- Uses Mac OS X fonts
Unlike OpenOffice.org, NeoOffice uses the same fonts that all of your other Mac OS X applications use. This means that NeoOffice will handle reading and writing of Western European characters (e.g. characters with accents, umlauts, circumflexes, cedillas, etc.) and some fonts will even handle Japanese, Chinese, and Korean ideographs. Also, NeoOffice is able to use any fonts that you install using the /Applications/Font Book application.
- Handles international keyboards
Unlike OpenOffice.org, NeoOffice will use any keyboard layout that you use. Also, if you switch your keyboard layout while NeoOffice is running, NeoOffice will automatically switch as well.
- Native printing support
NeoOffice supports printing using Mac OS Xs native printing functionality. Like other Mac OS X applications, you can use NeoOffice to print, preview, or save a document to a PDF file.
- Native copy and paste support
NeoOffice supports copying and pasting using Mac OS Xs native clipboard so you can copy and paste text and images between NeoOffice and other Mac OS X applications.
- Native drag-and-drop support
NeoOffice supports native drag-and-drop so you can drag and drop text and images between NeoOffice and other Mac OS X applications.

System requirements:
- 512 MB of memory.
- 400 MB of free disk space.

Very popular and open source SQL database. more>> Very popular and open source SQL database.

MySQL is a very popular and open source SQL database provided by MySQL AB. MySQL AB is a commercial company that builds its business providing services around the MySQL database.
MySQL is the worlds most popular open source database software, with over 100 million copies of its software downloaded or distributed throughout its history.
With superior speed, reliability, and ease of use, MySQL has become the preferred choice of corporate IT Managers because it eliminates the major problems associated with downtime, maintenance, administration and support.
MySQL is a key part of LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP / Perl / Python), the fast growing open source enterprise software stack.
More and more companies are using LAMP as an alternative to expensive proprietary software stacks because of its lower cost and freedom from lock-in.

Enhancements
- Replication: Important Note: Binary logging with --binlog_format=ROW failed when a change to be logged included more than 251 columns. This issue was not known to occur with mixed-format or statement-based logging. (Bug#42977)
- Replication: Assigning an invalid directory for the --slave-load-tmpdir caused the replication slave to crash. (Bug#42861)
- Replication: The mysql.procs_priv system table was not replicated. (Bug#42217)
- Replication: An INSERT DELAYED into a TIMESTAMP column issued concurrently with a an insert on the same column not using DELAYED, but applied after the other insert, was logged using the same timestamp as generated by the other (non-DELAYED) insert. (Bug#41719)
- Replication: The MIXED binary logging format did not switch to row-based mode for statements containing the LOAD_FILE() function. (Bug#39701)
- Replication: When the server SQL mode included IGNORE_SPACE, statement-based replication of LOAD DATA INFILE ... INTO tbl_name failed because the statement was read incorrectly from the binary log; a trailing space was omitted, causing the statement to fail with a syntax error when run on the slave. (Bug#22504)
- An attempt by a user who did not have the SUPER privilege to kill a system thread could cause a server crash. (Bug#43748)
- On Windows, incorrectly specified link dependencies in CMakeLists.txt resulted in link errors for mysql_embedded, mysqltest_embedded, and mysql_client_test_embedded. (Bug#43715)
- mysql crashed if a request for the current database name returned an empty result, such as after the client has executed a preceding SET sql_select_limit=0 statement. (Bug#43254)
- If the value of the version_comment system variable was too long, the mysql client displayed a truncated startup message. (Bug#43153)
Queries of the following form returned an empty result:
- SELECT ... WHERE ... (col=col AND col=col) OR ... (false expression)
- The strings/CHARSET_INFO.txt file was not included in source distributions. (Bug#42937)
- A dangling pointer in mysys/my_error.c could lead to client crashes. (Bug#42675)
- Passing an unknown time zone specification to CONVERT_TZ() resulted in a memory leak. (Bug#42502)
- With more than two arguments, LEAST(), GREATEST(), and CASE could unnecessarily return Illegal mix of collations errors. (Bug#41627)
- The mysql client could misinterpret its input if a line was longer than an internal buffer. (Bug#41486)
- In the help command output displayed by mysql, the description for the c (clear) command was misleading. (Bug#41268)
- The load_defaults(), my_search_option_files() and my_print_default_files() functions in the C client library were subject to a race condition in multi-threaded operation. (Bug#40552)
- If --basedir was specified, mysqld_safe did not use it when attempting to locate my_print_defaults. (Bug#39326)
- When MySQL was configured with the --with-max-indexes=128 option, mysqld crashed. (Bug#36751)
- Setting the join_buffer_size variable to its minimum value produced spurious warnings. (Bug#36446)
- The use of NAME_CONST() can result in a problem for CREATE TABLE ... SELECT statements when the source column expressions refer to local variables. Converting these references to NAME_CONST() expressions can result in column names that are different on the master and slave servers, or names that are too long to be legal column identifiers. A workaround is to supply aliases for columns that refer to local variables. Now a warning is issued in such cases that indicate possible problems. (Bug#35383)
- An attempt to check or repair an ARCHIVE table that had been subjected to a server crash returned a 144 internal error. The data appeared to be irrecoverable. (Bug#32880)
- The Time column for SHOW PROCESSLIST output and the value of the TIME column of the INFORMATION_SCHEMA.PROCESSLIST table now can have negative values. Previously, the column was unsigned and negative values were displayed incorrectly as large positive values. Negative values can occur if a thread alters the time into the future with SET TIMESTAMP = value or the thread is executing on a slave and processing events from a master that has its clock set ahead of the slave. (Bug#22047)
- Restoring a mysqldump dump file containing FEDERATED tables failed because the file contained the data for the table. Now only the table definition is dumped (because the data is located elsewhere). (Bug#21360)
