PowerDraw 0.9 is an essential and effective utility which can help you beautify the slides for your presentation. Have you ever wished to just draw a few lines on the screen during your presentation? Or did you wish you could highlight a word or phrase or part of a drawing on your slides during your lecture? Maybe you even wanted a few blank slides so you could explain something in more detail? Then PowerDraw is the tool for you. It is particularly useful when giving presentations / lectures using a ModBook (this is a tablet MacBook).

Major Features:

1. Overdraw mode: while switched on, all mouse clicks and dragging are intercepted by PowerDraw to create line drawings. If overdraw mode is switched off, then only PowerDraw's buttons are active; all mouse events in other areas of the screen go to the application underneath, as ususal.
2. Two buttons for stepping forward/backward in your presentation (this is particularly useful while overdraw mode is on).
3. Buttons to skip to the next/previous slide, no matter how many animations there are.
4. The GUI is fairly minimal, so as not to intrude too much; it is also quite efficient (hopefully), so that switching between drawing mode and click-through mode, and between different drawing colors is as quick as possible.
5. PowerDraw remembers what you have drawn over each slide; so if you go back a slide, the drawings you have made there will be displayed again. And it does not matter whether you go back via PowerDraw's button, or via Powerpoints own user interface (e.g., backspace, right click, etc.)
6. PowerDraw never intercepts keyboard events, so key clicks will always go to Powerpoint (or whatever application is in focus at the moment). This is a safety net. (Another reason is that I am often giving my lectures on a ModBook, so there is no keyboard at all [a ModBook is a tablet MacBook].)

4. Basic Operations
   • Backup - simply drag your files and folders into Data Backup and select a destination drive and go!
   • Restore - select the files and folders you want to restore, just like backup, but reverse the to and from folders.
   • You can backup to or restore from any mounted drive including CD, DVD, ATA, SCSI, FireWire, USB, or networked volumes.
5. Advanced Operations
   • Bootable Backups - Clone your bootable drive to make a completely bootable backup. Be up and running quickly if your main drive crashes
   • Schedules - automatically run any Data Backup task on a specific days, dates or other recurring basis
   • File Exceptions - specify files that are to never be backed up (such as system files or applications)
   • Versioned Backup - creates an exact copy of a folder or a disk, and also saves older versions of the data to provide an evolution of the backed-up data
   • Incremental Backup - copies all files that have been modified since the last backup.
6. Options
   • Synchronization - makes two folders identical by copying missing files and replacing older files with newer files
   • Compression - backup and restore can automatically compress your data, or you can compress data on your computer to save hard drive space.

Dejal Time Out 1.5.5 is really an essential program which will gently remind you to take a break on a regular basis.

Major Features:

1. Time Out has two kinds of breaks: a "Normal" break, typically for 10 minutes after 50 minutes of work, so you can move about and relax, plus a "Micro" break: a very brief pause of typically 10 seconds every 10 minutes, so you can remember not to tense up too much for long periods. You can disable either kind of break if desired, and the breaks are automatically paused when you go away from your computer, and can be reset when you come back.
2. You can configure how long each kind of break lasts, and how long between breaks. Each Time Out is announced via the screen slowly dimming, with related graphics materializing, and when the break is complete, it fades out again. You can change the time these transitions take... and you can even change the color and the level of transparency during the break. So if you like, you can make it mostly transparent so you can continue reading while on your break... though it's better for you if you give your eyes a rest during the Time Out.
3. While in a break, a progress bar shows how long till it is over, and buttons are available to postpone or skip the break if you can't be interrupted right then. Starting with version 1.5, you can change the number of minutes for the postpone buttons, or even hide them and/or the skip button, if you want to encourage yourself to take the breaks.
4. What's more, you can optionally play a sound and even run an Automator workflow, AppleScript, Python script, or application at the start and/or end of each break. So you can have it pause iTunes and play a short soothing piece of music at the start of a break, then a buzzer and resume iTunes when the break is over. 5. Rebuild Your Vision: While on a break, you can simply close your eyes or change your focus to rest your eyes. But another option is to try an exercise program to actively improve your eyesight. One such set of exercises offered by a third-party company is called Rebuild Your Vision. It includes exercises, guidance, and more to help train your eye muscles.
