QuickDoc is a Java document parser that reads documents from plain text files using a simple language and exports the document to other formats like PDF, HTML, Java Help and XML.

Diamond is an document editor I built as a tool for my own creative projects; it isn’t for everybody (it may not be for anybody) but the people who’ve seen it and used it have responded well enough that I’ve released it into the wild for your document composing pleasure.

Diamond is available as a Universal Binary for Mac OS X Tiger and later. If there is a later release available you can download and install it automatically using the Check for Updates feature in the application.

Flesh is a freeware Java application designed to quickly analyze a document (plain text and rich text files, specifically) and display the difficulty associated with comprehending it.

After processing a document, Flesh produces two scores: the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level and the Flesch Reading Ease Score. Each of these scores is calculated after determining the number of sentences, words and syllables a document contains. Using those numbers, the Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level and Flesch Reading Ease Score can then be calculated.

Flesh tells you how difficult documents will be to comprehend by calculating a documents Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level and Flesch Reading Ease Score.

Document Palette is a software designed to run in the background and to allow you to create new documents in the current folder.
With a folder active in Finder, press Control+Option+Command+N to make the palette appear, then select the document type you wish to create.
