Metronome 1.8.2a is such a simple yet convenient metronome for Mac OS X. Most functions (start/stop, change tempo &etc) use only one key to facilitate one-handed operation. A unique Accelerator - begin a difficult piece slowly and gradually speed up by any rate to any maximum tempo. A Tempo Finder - use any key to tap a tempo and put it into the metronome. Save favourite settings for easy re-loading.
Metronome is designed with the practicing musician in mind which means that it's fast and easy to use. Nearly all of Metronome's functions and settings can be changed by using a single key. You won't have to put your instrument down to change the tempo (arrow keys) or the accent beat (number keys). Stop and start by tapping the space bar (or the Enter or Return keys).

GUidMachine is the tool you need if you want to mix asynchronous streams of sound flowing in the same instance.
Main features:
- The Guidmachine is Step Sequencer combined with a sample player. The Step sequencer has 4 X 16 steps while the sample player can load 4 samples simultanuously. Nothing new so far, but what makes the GUIdMachine special are a few unique features. First of all you can easily shift any of the sequences up and down by any number of steps and you can decide the length of each raw. But even this is not news. Whats special about it is that you can randomize this modifications and so the pattern will never be constant if you want.
- The velocities can be randomized too so the accents will also change during time and make the loops more interesting.
- But the most unique feature is that the 4 sequences can play at 4 different BPMs!
- The Sample Player section is a fairly straight forward 4 voices sample player with a good envelope section and the possiblitly to change the pitch , the length, the start point all on the fly.
- It also features a 4 tap delay section, a master Vst insert and the possiblity to record audio files of what you are doing.

TaalPulse is a software Lehra, Theka and Tampura machine for the student of Hindustani music.
TaalPulse is created to run on portable devices (such as Compaq iPaq) but it also runs on desktop computers (Mac OS, Windows, and Linux).
Main features:
- The Pulse page permits to change the pulse of the lehra, theka and drone. The main pulse control affects the lehra and theka, and is expressed in BPM (Beats Per Minute). The pulse of the drone instrument is independent from the main pulse and is not expressed in any particular unit.
- The Volume page permits to adjust the global volume and the volume of each individual instrument.
- The Score page permits to select the Taal (number of beats per cycle), and the particular Theka and Lehra for this taal, as well as a drone pattern.
- The Pitch page permits to adjust the tuning of the Sa (tonic note). The keyboard permits to select a base note, based on the standard tempered scale. The fine tuning control permits to further adjust the pitch: a full move to the left represents a semitone lower and a full move to the right a semitone higher. The "0" button permits to reset the fine tuning to the center.
- The System page permits to quit TaalPulse and to restart it. Note that restarting TaalPulse is not recommended on PDAs (it takes a long time and might crash).

Audio Producer Tools is a suite of dashboard widgets for OS X designed to aid in common recording studio or live sound tasks. The widgets have been developed to be as intuitive and simple as possible, each performing one specific task. If more complex tasks are required, then the widgets can be used together in a chain.
For example the BPM Calculator can be used to find the tempo of a piece of music, which can then be converted using the Audio Unit Converter into the time duration of a musical division. This would allow quick and easy configuration of delay times. There are lots of different problem scenarios in a studio or live environment and these widgets offer solutions to many of them. But take care: once youve used them you will no longer be able to work without them and you will constanly wonder how you ever did without.
