Network String Scanner 0.7 is yet another extremely useful utility for everyone. It is actually a network discovery tool written in Perl.
NSS allows you to search for a given string on a given port, supplied with a range of hosts. It will then determine if it has found a match for your string on that port on those hosts.
Enhancements:
- Incorporated input validation for -t, -r, -n and -p which should have really been there from the start
