Free network communication protocols map software for mac

The HP 33xx (specifically my 3330) software often loses the ability to connect to your printer/scanner, etc. Ive found that killing off and restarting the background communication process sometimes solves this. Rebooting the printer can help too.

Bundled are a python script to do this for you and an application that you can double click if you dont like to type at a command line.

To run from the terminal: You may need to chmod 755 hpcomm.py . Type pathtohpcomm.py/hpcomm.py (If you are thinking of using the terminal, I dont need to tell you this).

Stalker CommuniGate Server 3.2.1 comes with many useful features to allow you to store all messages composed by users and received via communication modules.

Major Features:

Species Distribution Map is a dashboard widget that will show you the global distribution map based on the data from the GBIF network.

Network Pasteboard allows you to access the pasteboard of other computers on your local network.

When you run Network Pasteboard you can copy from the pasteboard of any mac that is running Network Pasteboard on your local network. - Network Pasteboard uses Rendezvous to show all macs on the local network that are sharing their pasteboards. You choose whether or not to share your own pasteboard.

Weather Map is an AppleScript application made to download the current weather maps for your selected region of the USA. When you run "Weather Map" it looks at the preferences made by the "Weather Map Run First" application to determine what region you have selected.

Then it downloads the weather maps for your region. It creates a folder on your desktop called Weather to store the maps.

It then creates a sub folder for that download labeled with the date. It stores the maps for the day in that folder. "Weather Map" will ask you if you would like to keep the maps. If you dont want to save the maps, "Weather Map" will delete them for you.

ZoomIn is a new site that makes modern, interactive maps available for Australian and New Zealand addresses. This plug-in makes it easy for Mac OS X users to display a ZoomIn map for addresses in their Address Book.

Stalker PortConnector 2.2.1 is a very flexible and effective tool which enables Macintosh communications programs to make connections using X.25, TCP/IP, ISDN, or ADSP protocols, or with any network supported by a Connection Tool.

It allows non-CTB and TCP-savvy applications to employ CTB Ports, Tools, as well as TCP/IP streams. PortConnector creates "virtual ports" for each Toll to support any application that provides a list of registered serial ports or even pre-CTB applications. For each port created, PortConnector can emulate a direct serial line or Hayes-compatible modem.
