nrg2iso 1.4 is designed to be a good tool which can extract ISO 9660 files from Nero's proprietary .nrg format. This is a GUI wrapper for the linux command line nrg2iso v0.4 tool by G Kokanosky which is available under the GNU GPL. Now modified by Daniel Bulow for 64 bit. Added a new universal version that handles more types of .nrg files with better compatibility. Based on nrg4iso by Mark Akesson. Both versions also support extracting dmg files for use on PCs.

After 20 years of active development under a proprietary government license agreement, the BRL-CAD solid modeling suite has just been released as Open Source software. BRL-CAD is one of the many legacies of the late Michael Muuss, author of ping. The package began on the PDP-11 and VAX 11/780--before the emergence of ANSI/ISO C language standards--and boasts one of the first parallel Ray tracers in existence.
