Music Machines provides you with a very powerful and easy-to-use program which can easily generate music within certain parameters. Music Machines project goal was to create a number of small, simple programs that are able to generate music within certain parameters.

Music Math 4.0 is a freeware to turn values for musical use. You can calculate the time stretching to use on a sample if you change the tempo for another, or the number of semi-tone to transpose, the time stretching to apply if you transpose a sample and you don't want to change the duration, the delay in ms to synchronise with BPM, and a tap delay fonction.

Music Valet 1.0 is developed to be an effective tool which enables you to collect your iTunes music library into a single folder. Unlike iTunes' built-in Consolidate Library command, Music Valet moves files rather than copying them, so you don't end up with extra copies of dozens of songs cluttering your hard disk. Also lets you force iTunes to reorganize the library folder by artist and album and provides a list of any missing files. Developed with AppleScript Studio.

Random Music plays random mp3 tracks from your music collection. It maintains a flat database of tracks, detailed genres, and weights, and generates a weighted random playlist from the user-selected genres. The ID3 and ID3v2 fields (title/artist/album), detailed genre, and weight (0-9) for the currently-playing track can be edited, and tracks can be removed from the playlist.
For example, a user can select only tracks with a minimum weight of 5 from the subgenres "Pop - 1970s" and "R&B - 1970s", and the playlist will adjust accordingly.
Enhancements:
- This release adds features to the playlist editor.
- Playlist entries now include the album name, and selected tracks can be moved up or down.

Music Machine 12 1.0 is a beneficial and highspeed application which plays a melody using notes from a selected mode or scale. There are eight choices of mode or scale, the six principal ecclesiatistical modes (dorian, phrygian, lydian, mixolydian, aeolian, ionian as well as the blues scale and the pentatonic scale). The rhythm of the melody is a transcription of a melody that I heard whilst be put "on hold" during a recent telephone call.

This is a demo version which will run for only a short time. To Upgrade to the full version follow the instructions that come with the demo version. In the full version the machine will run indefinitely until stopped by the user. Please note the music machine is a stand alone application that will play music within parameters set by the composer not the user. Other music machines that offer some intervention by the user are available from the music machine website.
