Music Machines provides you with a very powerful and easy-to-use program which can easily generate music within certain parameters. Music Machines project goal was to create a number of small, simple programs that are able to generate music within certain parameters.

DJ Download Search is a simple widget that will allow you to perform searches for tracks, artists or record labels on the DJ Download music site.
I built it more for my own convenience as I wanted to get information on certain tracks in a mix set that I was listening to without having to load up Safari and then go to the DJ Download site to see if it was available.
When you type a search and press enter, it will automatically open Safari with the search results.

The Music Recommendation System is an automated system that provides music recommendations specifically tailored to each user to find new music that they might like. This system, designed by students at the University of Illinois (Champaign-Urbana), operates by taking ratings (or playcounts) from your own iTunes playlists and comparing them against other users who have used the recommendation system. Right now we have a very small number of users, and so the recommendations will most likely be laughable. However they will get better over time as more people enter into the system; meanwhile, enjoy while the numbers grow. Download the client try it out. Tell your friends to try MRS to help improve the results.

Music Browser is a lightweight web-based browser and streamer for your big music collection.
Music Browser runs on most operating systems, and is light enough to run flawlessly on NAS devices like the Linksys NSLU2 or Freecom FSG3.

System requirements:
- Webserver with PHP4.2+
- CPU 200 Mhz
- 128 RAM
