I have written some add-on scripts for Salling Clicker, a program that helped inspire me to purchase a bluetooth phone last year. This program allows you to control your mac with your bluetooth phone, enabling it to do everything from presentations, to pausing a film to automatically turning on your music etc as you enter the room. It is quite amazing what one can do with a bluetooth link and Salling Clicker.

dMSN control uses a very crude method of control...you need to have dMSN positioned as shown in the picture, so salling clicker can click the MSN menu correctly. Very ungraceful.

William Bowling has written a cool script which actually allows you to use your phone to receive messages from aMSN, send them, change your status etc.

httpmail plugin 1.53 offers you a convenient communication tool that allows you to download Hotmail email in Mail.app. A plugin for Mail.app that once installed adds the httpmail protocol. Add a new account, and select httpmail as the account type. Fill in the details and it should all work ;)

TjMSN was started as due to a lack of decent MSN Messenger clients for Linux, so I decided that I would write a client that was platform independent, so that I would run on both my desktop and laptop.

TjMSN now supports plugins to allow you to install features that not all users will want.

Chat Logger - Logs all chat sessions to html/xml files for viewing after a chat window has been cloased

Chat Logger Web Server - When used in combiation with the chat logger, this will allow you to publish chat logs on a web server so that you can give people urls to view chat histories.

Eliza Autoreply - An auto reply plugin that uses the Eliza algorithm to have conversations for you while you are away from your computer.

Systray - Places a icon in the system tray for TjMSN.

Emoticon Field 1.0 is created to be a useful and innovative tool which can add a simple edit field to your REAL basic apps that can handle icons like MSN Messenger can. You will need WASTEfield to use this, you can download it from my websitet.

Webmailer 1.0.1 is an enhanced tool specifically designed to help you fix the problem that ever click on a mailto: link, only to scream in frustration as Apple Mail opens yet again. You can set it to open any URL or run any shell script, complete with the parameters lifted from the mailto link. Webmailer comes with links for several possible Webmail sites, including Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail, and several Webmail programs, such as SquirrelMail or Roundcube.

But you can always add your own configuration. (There are two versions of Webmailer, one for Mac OS X v10.3 (Panther) and one for Mac OS X v10.4 (Tiger). The Tiger version includes a feature that allows you to choose your default email handler.)
