iPlayMovies is a simple app to manage playlist of movie clips.
Ive written this app to manage the tons of clip movies created with my igital camera (mpg movies).

Like to watch video full screen like Quicktime Pro does, but dont wanna pay $29.99? You can, with this applescript in the menubar. Open you movie and go to the Applescript menu. Click on the action "Movie fullscreen" and voila.

You can use the controller to easily pause, play, stop, rewind, fast forward the movie or quickly switch back to actual size with a mouse click. Want to change its position? Just grab it with your mouse and move it wherever you’d like on screen.

Movie Flipper is a small program that will print a "flip book" from a QuickTime movie that can be printed and assembled. It is very bare bones - it expects the frame rate and other features to be set beforehand, and it seems to have problems with certain codecs and save settings, but is otherwise a neat little program to play with.

Source code contains some useful QuickTime-related stuff, including the beginnings of a Mutable Quicktime movie class that allows you to add and remove frames or get an NSImage reference from a given frame of a Quicktime movie.

QuickTime movies to be printed should be exported at 3-5 frames per second. You do not need to export the sound track, although it wont hurt to do so. Print the movies to your printer (your printers margins will automatically be taken into consideration) on heavy paper or card stock. Once you have done this, you can cut them out on the black line and put them in frame order (the frames are numbered) and staple or otherwise bind the paper together.

TakeMovieSnapshot is an AppleScript that will take a snapshot of your movies at a specified time into the movie and create a jpeg image file from the snapshot.

To configure the script double click it. To use the script just drop your movie files onto the script.
