Monitor 3.0 is considered as a professional and useful business and finance application. Tired of managing five apps/windows/tabs at the same time and of reloading all the time by hand to track your e-commerce, mail, twitter, notes, blog? Mighty Monitor is a small and useful Dashboard Widget that displays the battery status for the Apple Wireless Keyboard and the Wireless Mighty Mouse.
I kept hoping someone would develop something like this, and alas I got tired of waiting. This works on my system -- it may not on yours. It is pretty simple code.
It runs the following from the command line to get the battery status:
For the keyboard:

AppMonitor is a small tool designed to watch the CPU usage of any process on your system. Useful for developer who want to control CPU usage of their program.

It features an auto-scaling graphic window, it supports when the "monitored" software is quit and waits until it is launched again (developers know what I mean: compile, test, recompile, retest...).

Best of all, its free, hehe. It was one of my first Cocoa applications, so dont ask for too much, but feel free to mail me if you have suggestions and/or bugs to report.

Web Monitor is a small widget that monitors servers and websites. Periodically checks response times and shows you a chart, statistics and the monitoring log.

iChatMonitor show a small window like MSN Messenger when a contact becomes online, offline, away or idle, with the pseudo and the avatar of the contact.

Load Monitor 0.93 is a beneficial and easy-to-use application which gives the system load, not the CPU load.

It tries to mimic the behaviour of the well-known "xload" availble with a X11 server. By default, the load values for the last 5, 30 and 60 seconds are displayed, drawn and updated every second. The delay between two updates can be adjusted. The source code is included and released under GPL.

What is Heart Monitor?
Heart Monitor is a bare-bones CPU monitor menu extra that displays a beating heart. As the CPU load increases, the heart beats faster. You can set Heart Monitor to track the User, System, Idle or Nice load. It does not do much else. Uptime, processor info and other tidbits are not displayed. You can set the window level (desktop, normal or floating), and optionally display a small window showing all CPU load averages.
There are many CPU monitors out there that give you plenty of CPU information. This is not one of those applications.
How do I use Heart Monitor?
Simply double click to launch. A heart will appear on your desktop, and a new menu item will appear in your menubar, displaying a percentage. This is the CPU load average for whichever load you wish to track (User, System, Idle or Nice). Use this menu to set the preferences of the Heart Monitor.
How do I quit Heart Monitor?
Simply click on the menu that is displaying the CPU load, and choose "Quit Heart Monitor".
Why doesnt Heart Monitor show the things I want to see?
Because Im not you. And its free. And the source code is available.
Heart Monitor is 159% freeware. You may redistribute the application as you see fit, without notification to myself, as long as no fee is collected.
