ZyXEL Modem Scripts is a collection of Modem Scripts for ZyXEL modems (including ISDN). Modem Scripts are used with "Apple Remote Access" (ARA 2.0, 2.1), "Open Transport/PPP" (OT/PPP) and Remote Access 3.x.

Completly freeware for personal use.

Ricochet Modem Scripts is a set of two Modem Scripts for Ricochet modems (both for the original 28kbps and the new 128kbps modems). Modem Scripts are used with "Apple Remote Access" (ARA 2.0, 2.1), "Open Transport/PPP" (OT/PPP) and Remote Access 3.x.

The advantages of these scripts over the Ricochet script provided by Apple are:
• The 128k version sets the serial port to maximum speed, which is 230400 bps.
• Disconnect (hangup) is faster
• The 28k version can even reset the modem at the beginning of a call when it is still online from a previous connection (which can happen if your computer had crashes and was hard-reset). This could probably work in the 128k script, too, but I did not find the time to implement and test that yet. Let me know if you need that feature for the new modem, too.

Along with various example scripts for AOL Instant Messenger (Away message, Send Chat text, Send IM, Set Profile, Sign off and on and Auto response), the AIM Scripts archive contains several of the authors finished scripts, such as Noodlez AIM Bot and AIM MP3 Announcer Chat.

iTunes Scripts Mac OS X is Apples collection of scripts for iTunes 2.0.3.
It includes scripts such as Set Genre to Specific EQ, Loop Track Section, Library Summary and iPod Library Summary, plus scripts to search the CDDB and CDNOW databases from selected tracks. The collection also includes Build CD Tray Insert, which uses AppleWorks 6.2.2 to automatically build a CD Tray Insert from the selected playlist.

XFinderScripts is a set of 4 Finder droplets built for Mac OS X.

The scripts Lock, Unlock and FolderCount allow easy access to Finder information such as file & folder counts, and locked and visibility status for files & folders (including entire directories and disks), and the information can be saved to a log file.

Lock and Unlock allow drag & drop setting of locked status for one file or entire directories. DesktopPictureChangerX brings back automated desktop picture rotation at startup/login to OS X. Lock, Unlock, and FolderCount will run under both Mac OS X and classic Mac OS, while the script DesktopPictureChangerX will only run under Mac OS X.

Imposition scripts is a set of AppleScripts for imposing InDesign 2.0 pages in 2-up spreads.
Automatic page numbering is retained and the result is an editable InDesign document.

Requirements:
Mac OS X 10.2 or later, iTunes 4.0 or later.

These are simple scripts for Virex 7 (which MUST be installed before you run either of these scripts). They help setup periodic processes to scan your the file system and update the virus definitions.

Periodic commands will not occur when the Mac is asleep. Make sure you leave your computer on at night if you want the maintenance scripts to run. These scripts are donationware.
