MIME Inspector is a tool used to help ensure that your Web site is returning the correct MIME types for files being served. Incorrect MIME types can cause various problems with downloadable files: Windows Internet Explorer is known to reassign the file extensions to ones matching the false MIME types, Macintosh computers may assign invalid file types to the files (again according to the false MIME type), and there is always the dreaded issue of binary files being spewed out as "text" into the window.
MIME Inspector works on the basis that you have a complete copy of your site offline (on your hard drive) in a structure that mirrors that of your site, otherwise the process will be tedious or impossible. If you wish to check a live site will need a radically different tool!

Pantomime provides a set of Objective-C classes that model a mail system. Pantomime can be seen as a JavaMail 1.2 clone written in Objective-C.
Pantomime is almost entirely written in Objective-C. The C language is only used where performance is critical. Pantomime uses a little bit of ELM code.

WebArchive Folderizer - Extract the entire contents of a Safari webarchive more>>
WebArchive Folderizer simply extracts the entire contents of a Safari webarchive file dropped onto its icon into a new folder (with the same name as the webarchive) mimicking the original hierarchy.
No attempt is made to process or update any of those contents. I needed a way to get at the embedded images and thought others might as well.
I was quite distressed tonight to notice that one of my older Safari web archives was showing placeholders instead of the graphics I knew had been there. It seemed that Safari had decided to refresh the page content before displaying it and couldnt get to the images at their original location so thats how WebArchive Folderizer was born.
Enhancements:
- More robust handling of embedded URLs.
- More MIME types recognized for dynamic content.
- Better handling of text content with incorrect encodings.
- Traditional Chinese localization (donated).
