Midnight Commander 4.5.54-3 is launched to be a handy and useful capable file manager which is also very popular among Linux and FreeBSD users.

In this archive you will find Midnight Commander deb package with support for both console and GUI mode for MacOS X 10.1 which (unlike a lot of other UNIX inherited software):

• Do not install anything into MacOS X system directories
• Do not alter any system file(s)
• Is very easy to remove

Everything will be installed into "/sw" directory on the root level of your startup volume. However, installing Midnight Commander will invoke automatic installation of XFree86 base package, which is placed inside hidden MacOS X system directory "/usr/X11R6"

Google Go Actions are a set of Mac OS X Address Book plug-ins that will allow you to get Google directions and/or a Google map to any entry in your Address Book instantly. For those of you who are not familiar with the capabilities of your Address Book, several of the Fields, such as phone, email and webpage have pop-up menus that appear with Actions. Now, when you click on the address field label (ex. Home, Office), you have two new actions at your disposal:

• "Google Map For…" will show the map of this location using Google Maps as the default browser.
• "Google Directions To…" will launch Google Maps with directions to this location from your home address (assuming you have a Me entry in the address book with your primary address).

MacSSController helps you to make your Mac to start/shut down/sleep on schedule. For example It starts/wakes up your computer at midnight so you can run backup tool while you are sleeping, or start at morning before you wake up and download new Podcast episodes.

Maybe you know you can set schedule through "Energy Saver" pane of "System Preferences", but it allows you to set only 1 schedule. MacSSController can set many schedules as you want.
