This is the final planned release of Merge Contacts for Entourage 2001. This script will merge duplicate contacts in Address Books such as may result from importing contacts from multiple sources.

This version of the script supports merging of all scriptable Address Book fields in Entourage 2001. As the Address Book format has changed in Entourage X, this version is not compatible with Entourage X

• When the /result option is used, DiffMerge now exits with an exit status that reflects the state of the merge (MERGE-RESOLVED, MERGE-ABORTED, ERROR, etc.).
• Added support for saving the contents of a Folder Window to a file. This creates a UTF-8 CSV containing the rows currently displayed in the window (respecting the various Show/Hide toolbar buttons).
• Support for Explorer Integration (EI) on 64 bit Windows XP and Vista. DiffMerge is still a 32 bit application and runs on 32 and 64 bit systems. However, the EI DLL which hooks into Windows Explorer must be the same bit-ness as the platform. This release contains 2 versions of the DLL.

MMEmail 1.1.3 provides you with a convenient and useful send email plug-in for FileMaker Pro 7 and later. It is different than other email plug-ins in the sense that it does most of the work for both the end-user and the developer.

MMEmail has a built-in email window which allows the end-user to compose an email message as if they were using a normal email client. From within the email window, you can set the To, Subject, and Body, as well as Attach files. You can use a special Auto-enter Hierarchal Menu of predefined email addresses to populate the To field.

The Subject and Body of your message can contain Merge Fields to grab information from the current record before sending the message. Merge Fields can be inserted easily with a Contextual Menu. You can select Attachments via a file dialog as well as selecting Container Fields from a menu. When you click the Send button, the email window can automatically send the message, or store entered values for use with a non-window email function.

If you run the Merge Two Contacts AppleScript after selecting two versions of a contact with identical names, the script can merge the contacts for you.

Put Merge Contact with vCard script into the Entourage Script Menu Items folder in the Microsoft User Data folder in the Documents folder of your user folder ("Home") in the Users folder on your OS X hard disk.

The eQuery package creates data merge source files, using the contacts in your Office Address Book, for use with Microsoft Words Data Merge Manager.

The data file is tailored to your specific needs, with just the contacts you want, and the precise merge fields you need.
