This utility will interest you if you like to work with prime numbers. It has two modes. Mode A finds primes starting at a number of your choice. Mode B finds all primes between a start number and a stop number. A "Stop" button has been added so that you can stop building the table if you make a mistake or change your mind. You can see the table change as it builds with the table scrolled to the bottom. The table now displays the index and prime numbers with comma separators. Both fields go up to 999,999. A variety of simple math fact review activities including facts against a timer, building a number sentence and 11 different "math square" games. Many timed activities are accompanied by a "Hall of Fame."
We wrote this facts review program to eliminate some problems associated with paper work sheets. There is no copy machine, no hand correcting, and for students that have trouble with the pressure of timed tests, most of these puzzles allow them to practice independently with a timer. Best of all, these activities are perhaps a bit more fun than regular paper worksheets.
And what could be more fun that running an Aqua-style interface on a non-OSX PPC or Windows machine? Need to run your iMac lab under OS9 with only 256 colors? Hey, us, too. Specially optimized graphics insure that Aqua-style color gradients look good even at 256 colors.
Although many of the games in this application were designed with 8-10 year olds as the target audience, most ages from 7 and up will find suitable activities.

Logic is a simple game where you try to use deduction or just plain guessing to find the value a number.
When starting the game, you will see the set up screen which allows you to set the properties for the game.
Number of columns is the size of the number you want to try to solve. 4 means a 4 digit number. Number of choices is the number of posible choices for each slot. 4 means that each slot can have the values of 1 to 4. Press start when you are ready.
Next you will see the game screen. To end the game and go back to the setup screen, press the New Game button. Next to that are question marks which shows how big of a number you have to try to solve. The middle section is the guess history. At the bottom you can enter in a guess and press the Guess button or give up by pressing the Answer button. Pressing the Clue button will help you out by telling you the value of one of the slots. After making an guess (right) you will be told how many of the numbers correct and how many numbers are in the correct slot. p is for position and indicats the correctly positioned numbers. c is for count and is the correct number numbers regardles of position. With this information, you should be able to figure out what the correct number is. In the example shown to the right, three of the numbers are correct but none of them are in the correct location.
