Install Mac OS X Leopard on any system that doesnt quite match up with the 867mhz CPU requirements without hassle. No CPU upgrades, no DVD hacking, just a simple one-time-use tool.
LeopardAssist works by using a temporary Open Firmware "trick", changing the reported CPU speed to 867mhz and starts the installer from CD.
In technical terms, the application writes a file, "boot.txt" to the root directory of the hard disk, and configures the NVRAM (PRAM) to boot from it. On restart, Open Firmware reads the file which contains instructions to change the reported CPU speed, switches to CD or DVD and boots from it, where the Leopard installer takes over.
This simple trick means you dont have to modify your DVD to install Leopard. Finally, when installation is done or when installation is ready to reboot, you simply flash the PRAM back to restore the original CPU speed and restore booting from the hard disk.
NOTES:
- All effects of LeopardAssist are 100% reversible by simply, as always, flashing the PRAM to return to a previous state by holding down Command (Apple) + Option + P + R and restarting the machine until you hear the second chime.
- The users are strongly encouraged to exercise caution in using this and it is at your own risk.

Fully-featured mac mass mailer for Macintosh Panther computer supporting message templates and recipient database. It offers everything you need to create and maintain mailing lists for different needs and send mass messages directly form your Mac at a very high speed. It uses Apple Mails message delivery framework to deliver your messages. This means that 100 percent of your email messages will get delivered properly to recipient mailboxes as if they were delivered by Apple Mail in a regular way. The recipient database is fully customizable. You can add as many recipient fields as you want and use them in message templates for the purpose of personalizing your messages. Each recipient will receive individualized message as if it were separately sent with Apple Mail personally for him in a regular way. Message creation mechanism is the same as in Apple Mail. The program can even travel through your hard drive and extract all email addresses from all your files and directories. The user interface of the program is professionally designed according to the Mac OS X guidelines.
