mario`sudoku a.0.0.4
mario`sudoku is..a Sudoku game more>>
The level of difficulty of the sudoku is set by the number of revealed tiles you choose from its pop up menu. The more tiles you show the easier the game obviously gets.
You may click on any tile, revealed or empty to change/enter a number 1 to 9 even those revealed automatically and therefore right in my solution. There might be more than 1 solution to a sudoku and I have solved the game in a different way than the one created originally.
You may choose to have row and column highlited for you or a square to help you work out possible numbers.
In assisted mode, when button assist ticked, as you hover over empty tiles they will show you all the possible numbers for that spot, one at a time. Possible numbers are those not in that column, row or square only. Your cursor will be hidden and the tile will change colour. When all possible numbers have displayed then the tile will flash, return to its original colour, and the pointer will reappear. As you click on that tile a dialog box is displayed to allow you to enter a number. In that dialog window you are reminded again of all possible numbers for that spot. If there is only 1 possible number for that spot then that number is also entered for you in the text entry field and selected. This helps fast players to just hit enter or return to accept that choice. You may change that number if you wish.
At present you may not work in assisted mode and have rows or square highlited.
Hint gives you one right clue. It shows you a number in a randomly chosen unfilled spot and mariosudoku will remember that you have asked for a hint.
Check reports on how you do, hints auto-solutions and mistakes you are currently making according to my creation of that sudoku. Remember you might still be right and you might be able to solve the sudoku in an alternative way.
Undo and redo are unlimited.
Solve reveals all tiles according to you my solution. (that might not necessarily be yours). Undo returns you to where you were before but mariosudoku will remember that you have auto-solved it.
If you save mariosudoku will create a file called mariosudoku prefs in its folder (directory). mariosudoku will read it at start up and set up accordingly. Remove it and on your next restart youll get back to a default (no tiles revealed) screen. Save and another file will be written.
Should a box pop up saying something went wrong, please type what you were doing when it happened in the main field and either email it to me from the provided button or save it to disk and email it to me later at the address below. Quit mariosudoku and then restart it.
You will be contributing to make a better mariosudoku.
Thanks for trying it and for all your help!
Enhancements:
To upgrade any version trash the previous version and use the current one.
New/Changed things in this version:
- Tiles always revert to original state (white) when the mouse is moved out of them
- Save now works properly and added menu File:Save to allow for user wanting to save manually when game is created but before it is started
- Added menu File:revert to saved to quickly restart game from last save. Revert to saved differs from Replay this sudoku which restarts the game from scratch.
- Changed some shortcut command keys in menu items.
- PS I should be able to start work on vers a.0.0.5 in 4 weeks time.

Mario Shell Defense 2.0
Mario Shell Defense offers you a very interesting game in which you play as Mario, whos desperately trying to defend himself against an onslaught of Koopa shells! more>>
Mario Shell Defense 2.0 offers you a very interesting game in which you play as Mario, who's desperately trying to defend himself against an onslaught of Koopa shells! Use the left/right arrow keys to run, the space bar to jump, and the "e" button to shoot fireballs! Shoot fireballs at the shells to destroy them.
If you get hit by a shell, it's game over. Only tested on Win XP so far, but as far as I know it's cross-platform compatible. Please leave your comments and criticism, and feel free to poke around through the code and comment on how I could be doing things better.
Enhancements:
- Added in this version: Mario is now animated, and can jump on shells to destroy them and get points!
- Fixed: File name issues that caused errors in Linux and Mac OS. Also tweaked some code to fix errors for Linux users.
- To do: Maybe give Mario a health bar? Perhaps make him shrink when hit the first time, then dying after the second hit (like the original Mario platformers). I'm just sort of winging this, since this project is really just a learning experience for me. Suggestions welcome!
solitario 1.0
solitario is described as a fun, fast-paced and addictive game by Mario Leonti in 1993. more>>
solitario 1.0 is described as a fun, fast-paced and addictive game by Mario Leonti in 1993. In his holidays this year he revamped it for System X. They make you a gift of it. solitario is available only for Macintosh and they hope you find it as addictive as they do.
Please do not hesitate to suggest beautiful additions to solitario and report bugs. To pause the credits in solitario's opening screen press the shift key, to backtrack hold down the option key. To start playing solitario click the mouse once. You are presented with a deck of cards. Click on the deck, press the enter or the return key to deal.
If any two adjacent cards, or cards with not more than one card in between them, have the same value or belong to the same suit they can be both put on the same pile, you click them both and solitario will move the right hand card on top of the left hand one. You win if you can get all the cards in one pile.
Mario decided to retain the vintage look and make solitario free, for the time being. All rights are reserved and you may use it but only at your own risk. solitario was tested on MAC OSX.3.6 to X.5.5 but it may work on earlier versions.
<<lessWarpPipe 0.3.5b
WarpPipe allows you to trick your Nintendo Gamecube into thinking you are on a local area network (LAN) so you can play against other players over the internet more>> WarpPipe allows you to trick your Nintendo Gamecube into thinking you are on a local area network (LAN) so you can play against other players over the internet. WarpPipe currently supports Kirbys Air Ride and Mario Kart: Double Dash!!.
- A Nintendo GameCube console
- A Nintendo GameCube Broadband Adapter
- Kirbys Air Ride or Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
- A FAST broadband connection. You will need at least 128kbps upstream bandwidth for most games, although Kirby Air Ride can require up to 256kbps upstream bandwidth per player in the game. If your connection is not fast enough you WILL experience lag and connection loss problems. No dial-up modem support is available or planned.
- A supported network configuration.
Version 0.3.5b:
- New Interface: A nice, uniform, friendly graphical user interface for Windows, Linux, OS X, and BSD.
- Auto Ping: Once you are connected to someone, the GUI will ping the other person so you can see approximately how the game will perform.
- Auto Port Forwarding: Now there is functionality so that you dont have to open ports for the UDP game traffic. This is a step to 0.4. Until then if you want to listen for connections you still have to open port 4000 TCP. This should help individuals with routers.
- Automatic NIC Selection: Now you dont need to select the network card (NIC) that the GameCube is on. Warp Pipe will figure that out for itself.
- Wireless Network Support: If your PC or Mac is wireless, WarpPipe will now work. However, wireless game adapters are not yet officially supported, although some do work. We look forward to supporting wireless game adapters in version 0.4 to allow your GameCube to be connected to your network wirelessly.
- Improved 1080°: Avalanche Stability: Grind the pipe! Your favorite snowboarding game on the GameCube is much more stable on Warp Pipe. Although not all of the kinks have been worked out, this is part one of a significant stability increase we hope to completely solve with version 0.4
- Bug Fixes: Per usual a slew of stuff to make it more compatible and not crash on peoples systems.

Glarf 0.1
Glarf is a game with weird creatures on platforms shooting weird things more>>
The Big Idea is user created content, radical trust, randomness, and play. Weapon crafting is a key example.
Glarf can shoot things - fireballs, bouncy globs, liquids. When Glarf consumes a powerup, the things he shoots inherit some of that powerups properties, by being selective in what you eat or throw away, you can create weapons with powerful and interesting effects.
Eventually, players will be able to modify the code that governs the behaviour of object in the game world. And theyll be able to share it safely with other players. But for now were just working on getting a first level done that serves as a tutorial and is still fun.
Enhancements:
- Level editor integrated into the main game
- Added click-and-drop, clone and pause to the editor
- Added jumping behaviour for the mawjumpers
- Fixed tap real fast animation bug.

Just like in the game, green means go, red means stop, and yellow means caution (or the server is having some problems in this case). If Lakitu cant figure out whats going on, or cant connect, then youll see a big question mark box.
Thats pretty much it. Pretty simple, but it does its job.
