Battle for Wesnoth is a fantastic and very interesting strategy game. Battle for control of villages, using variety of units which have advantages and disadvantages in different types of terrains and against different types of attacks.

- In TROW, the Lady Jessica is now the Lady Jessene. This was the last major character in mainline (and probably the last named unit of any kind) to have an earth-human name.
- Under the Burning Suns
- Kaleh advancement: * Gave the Hero variation more HP. * Reduced XP requirements for the Captain variation. * Disabled the sword2 (and thus armor) AMLA for the Captain variation. * Enabled the bolas AMLA for all variations. * Added the camouflage AMLA back.
Graphics:
- New portrait for Dwarf Fighter (alternative), Goblin Spearman, Huntsman,

Language and translations:
- The term stoned has been replaced with petrified; also the related verb.

- Improved the sorting of the XP and traits columns in the unit list dialog (part of bug #13360).
- Fixed the MP password textbox handling of special characters.
- Add a "Factions" section in help. Only show current eras informations.
Miscellaneous and bugfixes:
- Fixed missing unit graphics when loading a start-of-scenario savegame.
- The add-ons directory, /data/campaigns, has been renamed and it is now /data/add-ons.

MSH Character Generator 1.1.3 is written to be a simple and convenient program in which you just choose "New" from the File menu to get a blank character sheet to make a new character. You can then fill in the sheet by choosing ranks from the pull-down menus or entering rank numbers. Changing the rank from the pop-up menu will cause the rank number to revert to its default, so enter any custom ranks numbers directly; the rank pop-up will update automatically.

The MSH CG defaults to the origins in the Ultimate Powers Book. If you want to use the original Advanced Set origins, just choose "Preferences" from the Edit menu and click next to "Advanced Set" under "Origins." You will have to open a new character window for this setting to take effect.
Use the tabs at the top to switch between the Stats, Powers, Talents & Contacts and Description.

To add new Powers, press either the "Add New" button (to choose a power and rank yourself) or "Random" button (to have a power and rank chosen for you.) You can remove powers, talents, and contacts by placing a check mark next to the item you want to remove, and then pressing "Remove." You can also clear all Powers by pressing "Clear All."

Character exChange is a free and easy to use desktop application that helps you to easily change special characters into html- or UTF-8-entities.
Character exChange also creates simple html-formatting based upon text-files, alters html-characters for publishing code on websites and deletes line-numbers from code. The application reads and writes .txt - files and can be used as a simple text-editor.
Character exChange is freeware. Character exChange can be downloaded in versions for all common systems, and its not necessary to install it.
