e-Vue Image Viewer 1.7.1
e-Vue Image Viewer is a program to stimulate rapid Internet browsing applying MPEG-4 based still images, not larger JPEG image files. more>>
e-Vue Image Viewer 1.7.1 is a program to stimulate rapid Internet browsing applying MPEG-4 based still images, not larger JPEG image files. e-Vue Image Viewer, a plug-in for Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator browsers, gives users the ability to view single or multiple MPEG-4 images embedded in Web pages.
The primary advantages of using MPEG-4 images, as opposed to other popular formats, comes from the tremendously reduced image file size achieved with MPEG-4 compression. Without sacrificing image quality, MPEG-4 image file scan be between 2 and 5 times smaller than other formats, resulting in considerably faster downloading and similar improvements in bandwidth usage.
Rather than waiting for an entire image file to download, MPEG-4 images appear almost instantly in any one of three progressive modes: progressive by size, blur or block. E-Vue's exclusive progressive mode allows the viewer to see are cognizable image considerably faster than other image formats. This allows users to quickly determine whether to complete the download or move on, thus making for a more satisfying and productive Web experience. When connecting to the Internet via modems, you can view 6 to 12 MPEG-4 based pages inthe same time it would normally take to view as few as three pages using other image formats.
Additional features of the e-Vue Image Viewer include: one-click access to copying and printing images, and the ability for users to access author information, comments and image properties that are stored as part of the image file.

PKGImage 1.7.8
Modular system deployment tool for Leopard. more>> Modular system deployment tool for Leopard.
Every image starts with the same universal base that then is stacked with .pkg or .mpkg files that you can custom build with tools like Composer, Iceberg or PackageMaker.
Using PKGImage you can then stack the order in which pkg files are installed after the base OS to make up your complete image with the click of a mouse.
Tick the options to set the startup disk, re-boot after imaging and enable Active Directory / Open Directory bindings. ByHost files are automatically renamed for User Template and all Users on the system. A report is automatically outputted to the server so you know which machines have been done, at what time and whats been installed.
Set the host / bind name automatically from an outputted .CSV file where name to MAC Address format will automatically populate the correct fields.
Add your own custom scripts to be run at the end of imaging and much, much more. Click the image button and sit back and let the tool do the rest for you.
Because the process is completely modular there is no need to re-image a computer because of a mistake or something was forgotten. Simply modify the original config file or create a new one and just get the system to update without erasing the computer or re-installing the base.
This also means that you will be saving space on the server hard drives.
For example a base image of 3-4GBs is the same file for all images, Office.pkg at 600MBs is still one file even if its assigned to 30 different image configurations.
Enhancements
- Fixed: Active Directory OU Path error.
- Fixed: Naming HD that has the same name as another HD in the same system that has identical name.

ImageMagick 9.6.0
Free software suite for the creation, modification and display of bitmap images. more>> Free software suite for the creation, modification and display of bitmap images.
ImageMagick can read, convert and write images in a large variety of formats. Images can be cropped, colors can be changed, various effects can be applied, images can be rotated and combined, and text, lines, polygons, ellipses and Bezier curves can be added to images and stretched and rotated.
ImageMagick is a nice tool suite for the creation, modification and display of bitmap images.
ImageMagick is free software: it is delivered with full source code and can be freely used, copied, modified and distributed. Its license is compatible with the GPL. It runs on all major operating systems.
Most of the functionality of ImageMagick can be used interactively from the command line; more often, however, the features are used from programs written in the programming languages Perl, C, C++, Python, PHP, Ruby, Tcl/Tk or Java, for which ready-made ImageMagick interfaces (PerlMagick, Magick++, PythonMagick, MagickWand for PHP, RMagick, TclMagick, and JMagick) are available.
This makes it possible to modify or create images automatically and dynamically.
ImageMagick supports many image formats (over 90 major formats) including popular formats like TIFF, JPEG, PNG, PDF, PhotoCD, and GIF.
Main features:
- Format conversion: convert an image from one format to another (e.g. PNG to JPEG).
- Transform: resize, rotate, crop, flip or trim an image.
- Transparency: render portions of an image invisible.
- Draw: add shapes or text to an image.
- Decorate: add a border or frame to an image.
- Special effects: blur, sharpen, threshold, or tint an image.
- Animation: create a GIF animation sequence from a group of images.
- Text & comments: insert descriptive or artistic text in an image.
- Image identification: describe the format and properties of an image.
- Composite: overlap one image over another.
- Montage: juxtapose image thumbnails on an image canvas.
- Motion picture support: read and write the common image formats used in digital film work.
- Image calculator: apply a mathematical expression to an image or image channels.
- High dynamic-range images: accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from the brightest direct sunlight to the deepest darkest shadows.
- Large image support: read, process, or write mega- and giga-pixel image sizes.
- Encipher or decipher an image: convert ordinary images into unintelligible gibberish and back again.
- Threads of execution support: ImageMagick is thread safe and many internal algorithms are already threaded to take advantage of speed-ups offered by the dual and quad-core processor technologies.
Enhancements
- Fixed a small memory leak (8 bytes) in TransformImages().
- Render to Cairo surface rather than a GDK buffer when rendering SVG.
- Identify now reports both actual and reported image depths

DeIMG - This application allows web authors to offer superior support for users who rely on browsers which support tables but not images.
PNG, TIFF, JPG, GIF and PDF files can be imported.
Drag the image file onto DeIMGs icon, or into the image well on the left of its window. A HTML table describing the image using cell background colours appears in the right-hand field. A large image may take some seconds to translate.
Use the "Cell size" control to set the tables resolution. Pre-shrinking images and compensating with a larger cell size trades some sharpness for a smaller file.
This table can be copied and pasted into a webpages source. Alternatively, the "Generate header" option creates a stand-alone HTML page
