Do you find that you are constantly getting messages bounced back to you from mailing lists to which you are subscribed from a particular non-default account, because you keep forgetting to set the correct account from new mail messages and send from the default account to which the new message window always opens?

Mailing List Account (Entourage), when run from a schedule, will put that right so that it never happens again.

When Outlook Express makes a contact entry for a mailing list, it annoyingly puts the first word as a "first name" and the rest of it as a "last name", and alphabetizes it according to this spurious "last name" in the Address Book.

This makes it impossible to find if youre ever looking for it in the Address Book. This script overcomes this.

When run from a linked Mail Rule, Send to Mailing List (Entourage) allows you to run a mailing list from Entourage. Whenever an email comes in from a list member it will be immediately sent out to the whole group.

Unlike a Redirect, replies will go to you at your list account (and get sent out again), not to the sender. Unlike a Forward, it wont have the FW: prefix and other Forward paraphernalia in the message text.

lineStripper does just that! Basically it opens a text file and takes out all duplicate lines where ever they may be in the file. File must be plain text, sorry.
I used it on my mailing list file, because its always the case that people get on it more then once, and that made them angry. But now I dont have a mailing list anymore, so I am sad. This program is all that remains.
Enhancements:
- This added the requested "progressive" feature- as I failed miserably to get it right the first time! (Not a bug or anything, mind you, it just didnt completely understand what the customer wanted. My fault.)
- Still, it could be useful, so progressive stays, and the actually requested "weed" function was added.

Access bi-directionaly to Google contacts via address books. This extension detects gmail accounts which have already set up and creates address books for each of them.
Cards in the address books are synchronized with Google contacts; they represent the current Google contacts contents and Google contacts will be modified when you modify the cards. TBs mailing lists and Googles contacts groups are synchronized in the same manner.
The Google Contacts extension allows you to access your Google contacts and synchronize them with Thunderbird address books.
Note: The Google Contacts addon is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.

Version restrictions:
- A primary email must be unique in an address book. It is a limitation of Google.
- At least one of a primary email and a display name must have a value. It is a limitation of Google.
- A mail list, which is a contacts group in Google, must be unique in all address books. If some Google accounts have a group which has the same name, only one group is imported and others are ignored. It is a limitation of Thunderbird.
- Only items exist in both Google and Thunderbird are synchronized.

Select digest messages from mailing lists, save in predetermined folder (edit the script). I use to save digests to disk and view with Digest Viewer.
