MailPod is an AppleScript based tool that copies emails in Apple Mail to an iPod as a note entry so you can carry and read email messages on your iPod.
System requirements:
- Apple Mail
- An iPod with support for notes (obviously not shuffle).
Enhancements
- You can now choose which mailbox to sync with your iPod. However, due to Mails AppleScript limitations, smart mailboxes can not be used. Bummer....

Mail Badger is a plug-in for Apples Mail.app that enhances the applications dock icon by allowing users to set up multiple badges that display message counts from different counts or mailboxes of messages that satisfy a wide range of conditions.
Main features:
- Supports any number of badges, limited only by available memory and performance
- Complete control and freedom over the position and size of badges on the dock icon
- Badges can be colorized and made partially transparent
- Users can set their own custom images to be used on badges (Mail Badger comes with four built-in shapes)
- Configurable fonts and other text attributes for the number displayed on each badge
- Message counts displayed on each badge can be computed from the number of messages in a mailbox (unread, read, or total), from the number of messages that satisfy a set of conditions, or by the result of running AppleScript code
Enhancements:
- Integrated Help can be loaded by clicking the purple Help button at the bottom-right corner of the Mail Badger section of the Preferences window.
- The built-in "Spiked Circle" images have been altered to remove some of the unnecessary empty space around them. You may need to slightly resize or reposition some of your badges that use this image set to get the exact appearance that you had in the previous versions.
- Badge colorization algorithm now honors the saturation of the original image as well as the brightness when applying color.
- When loading into a new image set an image taller than 128 pixels, the user is now asked if the image should be resized or if the original should be used as is.
- The position of the text anchor on a custom image is now also displayed as percentages in the image set window.
- Sometimes custom images in the image set boxes would be drawn on top of the borders of those boxes.

MailMigration works with Mac OS X Mail 2 to migrate mailboxes and messages:
- from local mailboxes to an IMAP server, or
- from an IMAP server to local mailboxes, or
- from an IMAP server to another IMAP server.
MailMigration offers you the possibility to migrate the mailbox structure sans messages. This tool is especially useful when migrating to a different mail server.

Email Archiver is an AppleScript Studio application which sets up archive rules for keeping the size of mailboxes to a reasonable limit. It allows you to specify which mailboxes you want to archive, how old messages must be to archive, and how often to roll over archive mailboxes. It currently works with Mailsmith, a version for Eudora and Apple Mail is underway.

GNUMail.app 1.1 is regarded as a simple yet convenient mail application running on Linux (or FreeBSD, OpenBSD, etc) and Apple Mac OS X. It uses the GNUstep development framework or Apple Cocoa, which is based on the OpenStep specification provided by NeXT, Inc. GNUMail.app is licensed under the GPL, and the full sources of the application are available. GNUMail.app was written from scratch. It uses Pantomime as its mail handling framework.

Mailtron Gateway (PowerPC) 2.3 is considered as a professional and helpful POP mail gateway. It allows you to host your own mail for a domain without having a full-time Internet connection or paying fees to your ISP for additional mailboxes. Mailtron Gateway features automatic log forwarding, support for multiple domains from a single POP mail account, fully native Open Transport support with multithreading, and support for multiple gateways.

Mail Scripts 2.9.1 comes as a combination of AppleScript Studio applications for Mail and Address Book offering additional features or simplified workflow. Mail Scripts are fully localized in English, German, Dutch, French, Italian, Greek, Brazilian Portuguese, and Norwegian. Mail Scripts consists of the following scripts:

1. Add Addresses (Mail): Add addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields "From", "To", "Cc", and "Bcc") to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the "Add Sender to Address Book" available in Mail and provides a convenient way for creating mailing lists.
2. Archive Messages (Mail): Move messages from the selected mailbox(es) to an archive mailbox or export them to standard mbox or plain text files for backup purposes or import into other applications. You can select to move all messages or only messages sent within or certain period as well filter messages based on their read and flagged status.
3. Change SMTP Server (Mail): Switch between different already defined SMTP servers or define a new one. This is especially useful if you are using your computer in more than one location and have to switch servers for several accounts at once.
4. Create Rule (Mail): Create a new rule based on the first of the selected messages. This saves you the trouble of copy/pasting address or other info between the message and the rule window and provides a much quicker way for setting up a rule with multiple criteria/actions.
5. Remove Duplicates (Mail): Locate all duplicate messages found in the selected mailbox(es) and move them to a separate mailbox for easy removal (duplicate matching is based on the unique message header "Message-Id").
6. Schedule Delivery (Mail): Allows you to send individual messages at predefined times (this script uses iCal for scheduling message delivery).
7. Send all Drafts (Mail): Immediately send all messages in the "Drafts" folders for all accounts. This saves you from having to open each draft in order to send it.
8. Open Mailbox, Open Message (Mail): Two small faceless scripts which will open mailboxes with new messages or the new messages themselves when run as a rule action.
9. Filter Sent Messages (Mail): Another faceless scripts which will apply your rules to the messages in the "Sent" mailbox.
10. Export Addresses (Address Book): Export addresses from the Address Book into tab-delimited text files. You can select which groups and which fields you want to export.
11. Search Addresses (Address Book): Find all addresses inside the Address Book matching one or more criteria. As opposed to the "Search" function built into the Address Book, this lets you search in any field as well as for empty and non-empty fields. As an example, you might use this script to search for all phone numbers with a certain area code in order to update your contacts after an area code change.
