Look Up Words is an AppleScript Studio application to look up words based upon string of characters.

It provides a cool Aqua front-end to the Unix look program and works fast and easy.

Look Busy is a program to create a false progress box, so that you may look busy, hence the name.
Inspired by the application BusyBee.
Tested with Mac OS X 10.3.9
Enhancements:
- Rewrote code to use "idle" handler in stead of "repeat".
- Added "Cancel" button.
- Cosmetic changes.
- Time input now done via steppers.
- Settings now saved on quit.
- Added "Preset Scenarios" menu which includes 3 user definable presets.

Quick.look is a plug-in for Final Cut Pro which gives a quick-and-not-that-dirty film-like look to DV footage (quick being highly relative in this case).

Since it gets its "film framerate" from half of the framerate of the original footage, its geared more to create progressive looks that will be shown as video (rather than film transfer).

Although I guess that might work acceptably if the original footage was PAL and it was later conformed to 24p.

Requirements: Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

Throw It Up is an icon set inspired by the graffiti stickers thrown up everywhere in New York. These images are super slick and have a slight abstract feel to them.

The icons are beautifully drawn and look their best in 128x128 at 32bit mode.

Completly freeware.

gooDict is a simple dictionary application. It contains Japanese, English-Japanese and Japanese-English dictionaries. gooDict is very useful for people who are studying Japanese.

gooDict allows you to look up dictionary through Service function from other Cocoa application. And gooDict can automatically look up the selection of other Cocoa application at background. (Not available in Safari)

gooDict also can automatically look up the content of pasteboard. So if you find an unknown word, you just select or copy that word and gooDict shows you the meaning of that word.

gooDict uses goo as a dictionary.

Address Book Reverse Look-up Plug-in is for the Mac OS X 10.3 address book which allows you to look up (from public records) addresses from phone numbers.

You can use this to fill in the missing gaps in your address book (for entries which have phone number but dont have addresses). Please note: this only works for US phone numbers.
