HDVxDV features real time audio and video preview of native HDV video and selectable 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 color upsampling. You can export either drop-frame or non-drop frame timecode to export to Quicktime in the HDVxDV preferences. In addition, the timecode is now displayed in the timeline. It may be a little late, considering the Olympics are over, but I thought people might like it anyway.
Here is a widget that displays the medal count at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Since there is no RSS feed for on the Olympic site for the medals, the developer had to write code to read values from the html.
So though it is a little late it was an interesting exercise in doing screen scraping with JavaScript and using JQuery in widgets.
Enhancements
- This version displays results for the Paralympics.

Sonic Visualiser is Free Software, distributed under the GNU General Public License and available for Linux, OS/X, and Windows. It was developed at the Centre for Digital Music at Queen Mary, University of London, by Chris Cannam (of Fervent Software, Rosegarden, Studio to Go!, and DSSI).
