MacNetlogon 0.6b is a very serviceable tool which logs users on to a workstation Macintosh by trying to logon to an AppleShare volume using the username and password entered by the user.
The MacNetlogon dialog box is presented to the user just after the computer finishes starting up but before the Finder loads. If the user successfully logs on, then the Finder is started. The user does not have to restart the computer to log off. A menu item is added to the 'Special' menu in the Finder, allowing the user to logoff and bring up the logon dialog box for someone else to logon. There is also a local administration username and password, so that administrators can access the machine even if the network in unavailable.
Requirements: System 7 or higher AppleShare server

Google Calendar Widget 2.1
Google Calendar on your Dashboard more>>
Keep an eye on todays events on your desktop. With this dashboard widget, you dont need to logon to Google Calendar in a dedicated browser window. Clicking on an event takes you directly to the event in Google Calendar, ready for you to edit.
Enhancements:
- There were some problems handling time-zones in version 1.0 for some users. These issues have been (hopefully!) fixed in version 2.0
- A highly-requested feature was to be able to look-ahead several days into the future, not just today and tomorrows events. Version 2.0 lets you preview up to one week ahead of today.
- The top part of the widget now features a button that takes you to Google Calendar in a browser. Trivial, yet highly useful, feature.
ChooserUser 1.3.1
ChooserUser - control who can change the owner name more>>
It also allows the owner name to be changed at startup, either manually or automatically. This program will be particularly useful to public Macintosh labs found in university settings.
Enhancements:
- When set to prevent a user from bypassing the AppleShare logon dialog, ChooserUser disables escape key. This key was being disabled in other places inadvertantly, and this is now fixed.

KeePassX 0.4
KeePassX is a smart tool developed on the fact that these days you need to remember many passwords. more>>
KeePassX 0.4 is a smart tool developed on the fact that these days you need to remember many passwords. You need a password for the Windows network logon, your e-mail account, your homepages ftp password, online passwords (like CodeProject member account), etc. etc. etc. The list is endless. Also, you should use different passwords for each account. Because if you use only one password everywhere and someone gets this password you have a problem... A serious problem. The thief would have access to your e-mail account, homepage, etc. Unimaginable.
KeePass is a free/open-source password manager or safe which helps you to manage your passwords in a secure way. You can put all your passwords in one database, which is locked with one master key or a key-disk. So you only have to remember one single master password or insert the key-disk to unlock the whole database. The databases are encrypted using the best and most secure encryption algorithms currently known (AES and Twofish).
