Log Visuals is a web server log file extraction and mapping program.
With a few easy steps you can have an interactive map available to you to display your log files.
All you need is a web server with log files in the standard extended format.
Log Visuals is currently is currently being beta tested. There are a lot of things to be added, but if there is something that would make the product more worthwhile for you please send an email to: logvisuals@ltconsult.com.au with any comments, suggestions or bugs. Hopefully this software will be released as commercial software in the not to distant future.

Only a small section of the file is read from disk at a time which saves memory and allows you to view a file that would be too big to fit in memory. The tail option monitors the specified log file for changes and displays any new data that is added in real time. Text string matching allows important text to be highlighted by using colors, bold, or italic font emphasis. Text matching options include simple sub-string matching or more powerful PERL style Regular Expression matching. Also available for Windows and Linux.

Boot Log 1.1 is a distinguished and easy to use program that runs on OS-X to grab the user name you booted up as and saves a log in the user's prefs folder called 'boot log'.
This log is added to every time the program is executed so it is suggested to make the program part of the startup items in a user's system preferences. The only known issue is that it currently does not save the file in a common place for global accesses across different users. It is suggested that you use 10.1 or later version of OS-X as the user name lookup routine doesn't work well with the earlier versions of OS-X. The source code is included.

It allows you to view a sortable table of statistics based on the output of a Wired Server log.

- Also the graphs will not "skip" a day. You would have noticed this if a graph had one line shorter than the others.
- Now saves the last-opened logfile you used (yay!).
- Figured out the memory management problem--you can now open multiple files during a run.
- Added column for UL/DL KB ratio, much to your delight.
