List Manager is a sample script made with Dialog Director scripting addition to deal with simple text files that have short records with single lines in them.

Put your files in the Lists folder, and enjoy! Feel free to change the script to match your own needs.

iCalShare Sherlock Channel 2.0 is a very tractable and powerful program which you can use Sherlock to search iCalShare's extensive calendar directory (with over 1500 calendars in more than 35 different categories).
Just tell Sherlock what you're looking for and you'll get a list of matching calendars. Double-click on a calendar to open its page on iCalShare, or just select the calendar and Sherlock will give you a mini-summary with a description, subscribe link, and tons of other info.

OmniOutliner List Manager is a set of Applescripts lets you use OmniOutliner Pro to keep a variety of lists on your computer and easily add items to them from the script running application of your choice. (Including LaunchBar or Quicksilver!) These lists can also be set up to automatically sync to your iPod as iPod notes in order to take ‘em with you on the road.
