Light Remainders is a desktop screensaver that imitates the style of 60s "scratched-on-film" experimental movies.
To install the screensaver, open the file "LightRemainders.dmg" on your desktop, and drag the file "LightRemainders.saver" into the folder "Library/Screen Savers" under your home folder (i.e. the full path is /Users/yourname/Library/Screen Savers).
The screensaver should now show up in the Screen Effects panel of System Preferences.

Play Sound provides a simple, no-fuss way to play sound files in classic Mac OS and Mac OS X. It supports QuickTime sound files (for example, AIFF or MP3 files), Mac OS System 7 sound files (files with a file type of sfil that contain snd resources), or any snd resources embedded into any file.
You can play an unlimited number sounds concurrently or one at a time. You can loop sounds, repeat sounds, control the volume of sounds played, and press the Escape or Command-Period keys to abort sound play.
To use Play Sound as a simple sound file player, simply drag and drop the sound file(s) onto the Play Sound icon in the Mac OS Finder. Better yet, configure the Finder to open sound files with Play Sound when you double-click them (see the Play Sound documentation for easy instructions showing how to do this).
Play Sound is also fully scriptable, allowing AppleScript writers to use simple, easy-to-understand English syntax to play most QuickTime-supported sound files, Mac OS System 7 sound files, and snd resources that are embedded in script applets. To script Play Sound, you call it from an AppleScript script or application.

Light Flux - Game based on the TRON light cycle more>>
Light Flux is a game based on the light cycle scene from the TRON movie. The object of the game is to make sure you survive during each round. You do that by not hitting the other beams and not hitting the borders. Also, dont make 180 degree turns or you will lose.
The game area is represented by a brushed metal surface. After the flux energy reaches 500 and below, the game area will get smaller. Once it gets to 100, the game area will get smaller each half a second.
Starting at an flux energy of 700 the world will start rotating. This rotation will go faster the lower the energy gets. In order to maintain your direction, use the small white arrow in the center of the screen.
You win the game when you have the highest score. The game is over when the game area is too small to be played on. Once that happens, you will hear the "Game Over" sound and the menu will reappear.
Version restrictions:
- AI is too smart, but the a round can be won (see Tips & Tricks)
- Score is not enabled, however you will hear who won each round
- World rotation is not fully optimized
- The game ends when the game area is smaller than 30%
- Currently there can only be 1 human player at a time.
- There may be some bugs here and there, but overall the game should be playable.
