Life Clock is a freeware screen effects module for Mac OS X. It displays how many minutes you have left to live and the current time.
Using your birthdate and gender, it calculates the statistical life expectancy for someone your age, based on data for 1999 from the National Center for Health Statistics.These data only apply to people up to 100 years old, so if you are older than 100, beware of extrapolation.
The original version of this program was written in 1994 as a holiday present for a hard-to-buy-for family member.
Completly freeware.

Toggle Locked, when executed from the contextual script menu provided by Big Cat, locks selected Finder items if theyre not locked or unlocks them if they are locked.

Utility Lock 1.0.3b is a simple to use, yet sophisticated screen locking system.

It is a custom built Screen Locking mechanism, it was designed after the Apple lock that is available in Apple Remote Desktop, its purpose is to allow for a greater customization in how the screen is locked, you can now have it locked on Sleep/Idle/Intervals and with the applescript support you can combine it with other applications like WiFiScriptor

Inside Lock-Unlock is a neat script that locks/unlocks a file or a group of files inside or outside a folder or within nested subfolders.

Options to process only one or many file types is allowed and, the script will add/omit a date-time-locked status of all the processed files, while preserving the existing comments.

uLock 1.3 lets you easily lock and unlock files and folders via drag and drop. It toggles the lock status of multiple files and folders via drag and drop. Launching the script, locks or unlocks a folder with the navigation dialog box.

Life is a cellular automaton devised by John Conway in 1970. From a few simple rules emerge a rich and pleasing behavior that is difficult to predict.

Click to add single cells, or randomly scatter a whole bunch onto the board. Set the speed to slow to watch it grow, or cranky it up and watch the patterns ebb and flow (or stop all together to edit the field).

Board is now resizable, faster, can wrap and supports rule variants.

Life Screensaver is cellular automata implemented completely and totally for the conversation-piece value.

Game of Life was invented by the Cambridge University (now at Princeton) mathematics professor John Conway. His "rules" were first published in the October 1970 issue of Scientific American. Life is likely the most frequently programmed computer game.
What does our application have thats better than the others... a great icon! And thats about it. This application allows you to set up cells and then watch what happens as they follow the rules of the game through multiple generations.
There are a few built in designs as well as the ability to save and reload your own. If you find this application interesting then do yourself a favor and search out one of the many much more thoroughly written Life programs.
