Board game that realize classic game "Life" by John Conway, but have loadable rules some of them is Life29 (by default) where all cells have three states (empty, young and old) with different evolutions rules.

The program lets you to draw, load and save figures, create random figures with different type of symmetry, run infinitely, by step or to stop at periadical life, and more - automatically search of new oscillators.

GPULife is a screensaver which displays Conways Game of Life, implemented entirely as an OpenGL shader. As a result, it uses almost no CPU power as it runs, and it can achieve very high framerates.

Life is a cellular automaton devised by John Conway in 1970. From a few simple rules emerge a rich and pleasing behavior that is difficult to predict.

Click to add single cells, or randomly scatter a whole bunch onto the board. Set the speed to slow to watch it grow, or cranky it up and watch the patterns ebb and flow (or stop all together to edit the field).

Life Clock is a freeware screen effects module for Mac OS X. It displays how many minutes you have left to live and the current time.

What does our application have thats better than the others... a great icon! And thats about it. This application allows you to set up cells and then watch what happens as they follow the rules of the game through multiple generations.
