Replace Text in Item Names will replace specified text with another desired text in the name of every item (file or folder or both) in a chosen folder.

For example, you are able to replace "folder" with "f" in the name of every item in a folder. Nested folders/files are even able to be processed in this script.

last.twit is a cool dashbord widget designed to display covers for the last tracks listened via Last.fm.

Replace Text in Selected Names works just like the Replace Text in Item Names but it will replace the desired text with another string in the names of only the selected Finder items.

For example, you can replace spaces with underscore characters in a group of selected files.

When Outlook Express makes a contact entry for a mailing list, it annoyingly puts the first word as a "first name" and the rest of it as a "last name", and alphabetizes it according to this spurious "last name" in the Address Book.

This makes it impossible to find if youre ever looking for it in the Address Book. This script overcomes this.

Change Disk Name to Song Name is a small AppleScript that changes the file name of an MP3 file to the iTunes song name in the iTunes catalog so that they remain consistent (you only have to do the edit maintenance in one place).

The script changes the disk file name(s) to "song-name".mp3. A one line change in the script changes the name to "artist - song.name".mp3 and/or drops the extension.

The script handles duplicate names and missing disk files. Place this in your /users/name/Library/iTunes/Scripts folder which is where you install the script set Apple provides on their site.
