Studio changed the way remixes are created and remains the best DJ studio production software. It includes breakthrough new features like an enhanced timeline, improved time-stretching and support for Mac OS X.
MixMeister Studio allows DJs to reconfigure a mix with a workflow similar to a DAW (digital audio workstation). This innovative approach makes it possible for a full-length mix to be constructed and produced on-screen. By automating most beat-mixing tasks, MixMeister Studio DJs can mix up to eight songs simultaneously and take advantage of exciting features like intelligent looping (up to eight measures) and the ability to overlay samples and sound effects. MixMeister Studio records all DJs actions and manipulations and allows them to be tweaked and altered to create the perfect studio mix.
MixMeister Studio also offers expansion via connectivity with a wide range of MIDI hardware controllers, and when your mix is complete it can be exported as an MP3 or burned to a CD using the integrated burning tools.

SystemSaver 1.3
SystemSaver provides users with a useful application-based screensaver. more>>
SystemSaver 1.3 provides users with a useful application-based screensaver. Have you ever used BeOS? Remember that screensaver that draws icons on the screen in random sizes to prevent burn in? Well, the Mac OS has some interesting icons, too. When it sleeps, it digs out all the icons it can find in the system file then randomly picks one to draw on the screen every few seconds or so.
Major Features:
- It has all the standard features (sleep corner, sleep now, never sleep, and sleep after n minutes).
- It can also handle multiple monitors! (At least, it seems to work fine for my 2 monitor setup).
- Plus, it has a progress bar indicates how long you've been idle and when the system will sleep.
Enhancements:
- Fixed an issue where selecting certain sleep-now and sleep-never corners would alternately start and stop the screen saver.
- Added ability to select more than one sleep-now and sleep-never corner.
Requirements:
- SystemSaver will run on just about anything. You'll need at least a 68020, and it will run on any processor up through the G5. We've tested SystemSaver on a PowerBook Duo 280c (68LC040) under OS 8 and several Power Macintosh class computers on various versions of OS 8 and OS 9 as well as Classic in OS X. SystemSaver is a fat binary, so the same application runs on 68k Macs and PowerPC Macs alike.
- SystemSaver looks best with 256 greys, 256 colors, or better. It will work in 16 greys or 16 colors. It will even work with fewer colors, but anything less than 16 greys and all you'll see is a black screen when the screen saver activates.
- SystemSaver requires the IdleTime extension to support automatic sleeping. You can get IdleTime from this website. (You probably already have it if you run AOL Instant Messenger or UserLand Frontier.)
- SystemSaver will take at least 3 MB of RAM and 2 MB of disk space
