Lab Tick 0.9.4 is an effective yet easy-to-use tool which gives you total control over the backlit keyboard. AB2eyeBeam is a plugin for Address book, which can compose phone numbers and dial with eyeBeam or X-Lite. Simple to use, it is enough to make a click-right on the telephone number chosen: it starts eyeBeam if it is not done (and waits 15 seconds), puts in pause iTunes, QuickTime, and composes the number.
